  • I was preparing a topic on the subject here on the forum, good that yours before.

Epic requires that the games have achievements, the problem is that in Construct 2 and Construct 3, there is no plugin for achievements of Epic, making it impossible for any developer of the engine publish their games on the platform.

I know that there is a specific Construct site to make this kind of request "which I also already did", but there are some days and I don't see in my account if the proposal was already analyzed, so I decided to open a post here on the forum about the subject.

The Epic Games in the documentation, already has native support for Web API, all well documented, but I do not have enough knowledge to make my game have access to this API.

It would be an amazing opportunity to have a Contruct 3 plugin for Epic Games, at least logging in and releasing achievement, is already enough to make the game available on the store.

Anyone who has the knowledge to create plugins and wants to contribute on the subject will be of great help to the community.

  • Use a "Wait for previous action to complete"

  • Pomodoro

It’s a Pomodoro Clock living in the Windows taskbar. When the time runs out, a notification appears in the Windows notification bar. To achieve this I combined Electron and the WebApi Notifications.

  • It was excellent, I wish you much success.

  • Great.

Will you need any third-party tools to export to work on Xbox One X?

This problem will probably never be solved, I decided to downgrade my C2 and had no more problems.

    I am using version 259.

If your project was saved in a later version, you can easily change the project to work on older versions, so you have no rational reason to be angry and beg for a solution, as the team is committed to C3 only.

  • This is extremely useful, thanks so much for sharing.

Using version 250 the engine did not close alone again.

  • For the sake of conscience, I downloaded the 250 version of C2, opened the same project, simply in 2 days working on the project, did not close even once.

So yes it is a problem in the latest versions.

Yes, the problem always happens with the image editor, what I imagine is the event to close the window should somehow leave some variable looping when the images are large "in my project I have very large animations".

Working on a pixel art project with small images this problem does not occur.

To make everything lighter, I always leave the project open "save the project folder open" not being .capx, which when saved, save time.

Finally, I am only using version 250 now in the projects and I have no problems.

  • I am using version 272

I updated Construct 2 to beta 274 and the same problem happened, in both videos I used the same project and did the exact same thing and on the first try Construct 2 was closed.

So I hope it is clear where the problem occurs and can be resolved, it is very annoying that this problem has arisen in recent months and several times lost a lot of time to redo because the engine closed out of nowhere.

Only now in the afternoon, Construct 2 has closed at least 20 times, with a huge desire to uninstall the tool so angry that it is causing me.

It always happens to close when I make a change in the image editor, closes when I create a new animation, closes when I delete some frame, closes when I try to move an animation to an animation directory of the tool itself, has closed even when I just changed the speed of the animation. animation.

This is ridiculous, there is something in the image editor that must be causing an error and terminating the application.

This has happened from versions above 250 if I'm not mistaken.

Now I will have to install a very old version of the engine, otherwise I just won't be able to deliver a job.

I am very disappointed with the engine.

Once again, it's difficult to make progress if people don't mention which version they are using. The latest version is r274. Did you test that version? Is it still occurring there or is it fixed?

I hope this is not a deliberate mistake to force people to migrate to C3.

    > During the testing the following steps seem like a very consistent way of making C2 crash:

    > 1. Clone Object Type on Layout

    > 2. Paste it in Layout

    > 3. Double Click new object.

    > 4. Duplicate an animation

    > 5. Click new animation

    > 6. Add frames from gif or just an empty frame.

    > 7. Close Editor

    > 8. Save

    > 9. Move Windows Taskbar.

    > 10. Crash

I tried following these steps 3 times in a row in the same project and it worked fine. However no starting project was provided, so I just used the Ghost Shooter tutorial version and cloned the player.

I'm afraid unless there's a way I can observe the issue, which is best achieved by finding reliable steps to reproduce the problem, then it will be extremely difficult to make any progress on this issue.

This problem usually happens when there are sprites with many animations on the screen.

Just now "here in Brazil" in less than 30 minutes, closed 3 times exactly when I sent save.

I have plenty of setup to work with any project in the engine.

Working on a pixel art project, I don't even remember how many times it closed, but in the "images are much bigger" vector project, it closes several times.
