• Uhm ok. I didn't notice it was an old post! For rotoscoping, I would say the best is to watch live action movies or to record the actions you want to.

From the original post it doesn't sound like you have to be a US citizen, you just have to live there

Thanks! Cool, that is what I understood the first time, in spite of some posts. I'm attending to Game Art Design Program At Westwood College and this kind of opportunities are quite helpful. I would like to hear more details. Some posts are kind of misleading...

  • Ok. I'm kind of lost in this thread. I can understand the positions of many of you regarding the local request, If I were outside I, but I want still want to know more about this project. Do you have a specific style? what kind of game would you like to develop or you're just researching the technical part at this moment?

    Sincerely,

  • Hi!

I'm very glad that Construct is known in U.S. I live in Colorado. I just recent joined to the forum and I started learning Construct 2. Right now, I'm trying to make some trial-error demos in order to learn Construct interface and functions. The ad doesn't specify what states Microsoft looking for, East or West Coast or the place doesn't matter?

Well, I think is good that Construct is recognized overseas.

  • Hi Ashley,

I have checked my dropbox and public folder, all my images are there. I'm sure. When I do ctrl+sh*t=J in Firefox I have like 4 or more errors. I clicked clear but after I did it and refreshed the page, the Construct logo didn't load.

  • Sorry, I meant file! can somebody check to see why I am seeing a white screen again. But the index is working fine. I uploaded all the files. I think!

  • Hello,

I have the same problem again. I am not sure if I missed one filed.

  • Hello all!

I'm having issues with audio, my sounds are not working on Firefox. It doesn't matter if I import them as sounds or audio. I have converted from mp3 to .Wav, I have tried stereo and mono but Nothing.

I made a new project to try my sounds and they still don't work.

Do I need a variable? I could glance the capx that Kyatric posted but unfortunately I'm a game artist and not a computer person.

Hopefully somebody can see what I'm doing wrong.

  • Hello SullyTheStrange,

Thanks for the info, I'll check it!

  • Hello everyone!

I'm new working with Construct and English is my 2nd language. I'm in a team and we're making a small game for a school project. Basically, the game consists in catching milk drops from a flying cow, just 2 levels. It is a platform game. My classmate wants that in some point of the 2nd level, everything goes to dark and we can see the player and glowing drops falling. So the gamer cannot see where is s/he running or jumping, neither the bricks nor background.

I was thinking on a mask effect, but this is my first time in construct 2 and I am not a programmer, I'm in the game design program.

I do not know how to apply effects in construct 2 yet.

Please, let me know of any idea.
