  • So, i've been struggling with this for a couple of weeks now and i've came close but can't figure out how to set the alert sound without it over playing or multiplying the sounds. I use a radar in my game and when the enemy enters the radar, it's suppose to play the alert sound and show a text display showing "alert". I got it to do what im aiming for kinda, but I can't get it to just play it without it multiplying the sounds or over playing. If someone can take a moment to look at my issue and help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

  • So im serious on making my games come to life and selling them. I've search Copyrights and Trademarks a while back and then recently searched it in the tutorials in construct which explained it a lot more clearer. So now, i've recently been planning these steps to take and once that done, I was thinking to myself the website for my game company. So, I search about wix and was thinking maybe to just make it with that since it's "free". But ran across some reviews that says other wise and hidden fees that wix has of using their site.I also looked at the tutorial in construct about making a website for you game comp. However, I would like to hear from anyone who has a site made for their comp and what site did you use to get your game site.

    1.Did you use Wix? If so, how is it for you?

    2.Did you hire someone to make it? If so, how long did it take?

    3.Are there other free sites that you use that is of good quality and quantity that's also professional and that is absolutely free with no hidden fees? If so, whats the name and how is it working for your business?

    All advice and answers will be helpful. I just want to see what will be the best place and best step for me to take my business once I have things finalized :)

  • Hello everyone, it's been 2 months since I posted about my last Update on my project.But I just wanted to share my progress of the game and where im at with it now :). I will say, I got most things done that I wanted to get done which is good, but also been a little behind on certain things, such as my scoring and damaged system. So, I will be working on that next for my project and will be focusing more on the actual game play as well as making the enemy Ai. Now, let's talk about what I have successfully completed. I have finish all the levels for the game and there are more than 20 Levels! That took a good amount of time to complete and making sure that each level is unique and functional to play in. Besides that, I got a good name to officially name my company, so you will be seeing that in the game for the business part.Last, I just gotten my project more organized and edited things in it to make things cleaner. Other than that, im glad that I finish the levels, but now it's time for me to work on the more challenging parts of the project. I still have a long way to go, but overall things are getting done.

  • I like your concept a lot, I have a similar theme of the static going on as well in a project im working on. I played the previous version cuz somehow couldnt find how to play the updated one when i down loaded it. Anyways,I will be honest, this game is not for me . You have to have patience and good timing in order for you to command the drone and I don't got either of them FOR NOW with this game lol. But I see where your going with this and it's really good , so I can see it really working out and being a full playable game. Hopefully, you did made the text clickable besides type-able cuz that would be more better than typing it out to play. But anyways, love it. Simple, good plot, and interesting to play. I'll give it an 8 out of 10.

  • newt I think they already do that through the Scirra aracade site. Basically in your profile your allowed to add your social links. But as for direct message to a user, that don't exist.

  • dop2000 Oh thanks, it was interesting to read that. A lot of good points were made in it speaking for having the PM, but I do understand that it could be a hassle and not so easily simple to just do for the site itself.

  • Hey, just realized about having a inbox message feature that could be useful for the users or website in general on here. I wanted to personally message a user on the site, but all I could do is just look at their profile. I personally think it would be very helpful idea to quickly message a person and connect quicker with the users that you personally want. It would be very convenient and would be a lot more faster than giving out your email and messaging back and forth through there. I could see it really happening. Im sure, this probably been thought of many times way before I even joined this site, but this is just something I wanted to share and see what others might think of this. :)

  • Hey Nabbo, nice to see you again. I think this one defiantly looks more polished and I do like the extra features you described and I think its a wonderful idea. I do like that the heart health lives are filled and dont have that visible heart shape in them. The levels really do look touched and the buttons and letters looks fuller in size which is good. So the screen does look complete, clean and organized and don't feel as tho something is missing. Im is this game for pc as well because im not sure how you would be able to play it with a controller if its for mobile. Last, i think the auto target and is a nice feature as well. Your game is really coming together more. I have not tried the new beta yet, but when I get the chance, I'll let you know of what I think about it :)

  • Yes , i did everything exact. I did a whole new Test and followed yours step by step and it works. It's something in my game that is causing it to not shoot correctly.

  • Hmmm... a weird thing happened. Now that the left and right is shooting correctly, the up and down is now shooting sideways. I've made sure the angels are at 0 and the the bullet angle is "yes".
