  • Hi cranberrygame, 2 questions:

    1) In the documentation for your performance plugin it says about the difference in filesizes:

    projectname.android.20141130052210_CrosswalkAndroid_WebViewPlus.apk: 9.57M

    projectname.android.20141130054216_CrosswalkAndroid.apk: 7.24M

    projectname.crosswalk.arm.20141130033751_CrosswalkForAndroid.apk: 23.48M

    But when I build my project in IntelXDK I am only given the usual crosswalk.arm and crosswalk.x86 apks. What am I doing wrong?

    2) I like how C2 now exports the files so that IntelXDK is able to load the third party plugins on import, however, the admob plugin isn't loaded automatically, I have to manually add it. Is this supposed to be how it works? All plugins are imported automatically but never the AdMob one.

  • Ads work now and also the webstorage for the high score! I actually really enjoy this game, as simple as it is. I normally download games on here to give feedback then uninstall them but I'll keep this one around for a while.

    Can I ask which ad provider are you using?

    Are you importing a wav file in order for it to output both the m4a and the ogg files?

    Mine is simple, I just use:

    Event: "On start of layout"

    - Sub Event: Audio is any playing (Inverted) > Action: "Play" and select my audio file.

    That's it.

    Can you add changelog to the zips. I lost the track of the updates and fixes etc. The native share plugin cannot share photos now. It could be awesome if you could write those details in a changelog. Thanks.

    I have to agree with this post. I mentioned it a while ago. It would be so useful having a change log for the plugins.

    As the library of plugins gets bigger and bigger and new features are then added to plugins it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of what's what and which new features have been added.

    Keep up the good work though, you're plugins are great!

  • Hey , I'm running C2 r190 and IntelXDK 1536 and have had no issues with audio when exporting via crosswalk.

    For info, the only plugin used is AdMob and I didn't bother to use the preload action. Just play (loop) and I have a mute/unmute option for the audio in my game. No issues here.

  • The only time I have experienced a white screen is if the files aren't in the correct location.

    If you have already created the project in IntelXDK then make sure the game files are all placed in the 'www' folder.

    If not, click on 'New Project' then 'Import an Existing HTML5 Project' and select the folder you exported your project to from C2.

  • I've tested the game, I saw no performance issues here. I'm playing on a Galaxy S4. The graphics are good, it looks clean and plays well. Good job!

    The only thing I would say is maybe increase the gap between the pipes as it became frustrating for me at times. The bird sprite as you flap upwards is quite large to fit through the gap without colliding.

  • I played your game. I actually enjoyed it. However, it isn't saving my best score when I close and return to the app. Is that intentional? Is the best score just per session?

    Also I would agree with the feedback above that the planets changing needs to be less instant, some kind of transition or countdown because a few times I thought for a second that I'd died until I realised it was just changing planets.

    Also just for info, I've not seen any ads in there yet since I started playing. Are there supposed to be ads?

    Things aren't always as they seem. Every room can be completed, Mr. Green just needs to explore the office and his options fully.

    There are currently 14 levels but more to come with future updates!

    Is it possible to use Google's cloud save api in the Google play services in the Phonegap Game plugins ? Would be really cool if we can save our savegames in the cloud.

  • My games exported with Crosswalk work great however, I have a few devices that have Rockchip processors and the games won't even load. I get a black screen then the apps close. Is there a reason for this or a workaround?

  • Hey cranberrygame I have used the ScreenCapture plugin with the Share plugin to successfully share a screenshot of the players high score, but every screenshot is saved in a folder on the phone which I don't really need. How can I save the image, share it and then delete it? Or, share it without ever saving it?
