  • OK.... I'm gonna kill my game if it's possible. lol

    was gonna share it yesterday only to discover this game breaking issue.

    player - Scroll to set

    Harts layar - paralax = 0,0

    (so I can see health and time/score)

    Grass Layer - 100,100 (only has Grass)

    Entity Layer - 100,100

    Background Layer - 30,30 (4depth feel)

    (Anchor on back tiled image)

    I have my background setup to 30,30 paralax and every time I go to fullscreen on my T.V I use for monitor. It's PERFECT 100%

    However when I go to anything else it's all screwed up?

    can up capx but is over 20 mbs fyi

  • have a global variable set to Zero, try after the game.

    Set Value to time value. just make sure you dont reset it.

    only reset the time to be reuesed.

  • Up Arrow = Jump

    Left = Left

    Right = Right

    WASD = same as arrows

    Down Arrow = Sit (while in Car)

    *Mouse Aims Laser/Turret (Player in Car)

    "(Gather Heads for Ammo) place in Car"

    Left Click = Shoot Turret

    Right Click (HOLD) Silver-bullet machine Gun

    Right Click / Space = Shotgun Fire (2 Shot)

    Shift / R = Reload (Shotgun) *unlimited Ammo for now

    Ctrl = swing Baseball Bat

    Hold E while jumping = enter house

    Hold Q = exit

    Updated player movements and platform logic, Thanks to Ashley's Guide.

    Movement is 100% smoother. Added zombie sounds and a squish noise for decaps.

  • Ammo Based Weapon and Ammo pickup system

    I want my weapon to not be able to fire unless has ammo gathered from an object pickup.

    I figure it might have something to do with variables either local or global and smoe math other then that my attempts have FAILed me.

  • Ok I'm working on a game where if you shoot a dude in head his head falls off blood squirts out neck etc...

    So I tryed seting up:

    on collision with object-enable group-

                            -turn off collision with itself (other heads)lol

    New Group

    Every Tick-head>set position to object/player image point 1 (my hand)

    Problem is because its being handled by a different string/group thing.

    ALL Heads are sent to my hand upon grabbing just one.

    I want wen heads appear(Spawns) I want to be able to grab them 1 by 1

    -Edit-

    in other words I want to grab with my character an object in my hand seprate from other objects, of the same type. In the game world.

    keep in mind Heads have physics turned on so that they fall and roll.

  • set origin point on end of building tool so that wen it collides with another object(ground,wall,block, etc..)

    on collision spawn object set origin<

    only a guess, for atleast how I think it might be done.

    Just right click on your object, will bring up option box.

    You should now see (Z Order) you can move up and down.
