  • Every engine has it.. Why cant construct have it too?

    Would make making idle games so much better..

    and they have been raising in rep with paid idle games like melvor idle etc...

    I dont think idle is bad as of nowdays.. and I mean.. why cant we have background mode on C3... that would make this engine perfect for me...

    I made a game called Norega posted on construct store people seemed to like it...

    Would be so cool if we coould get this..

    Not everyone is going to use Construct to make games run on phone..

    There is a ton and a bunch of PC TOP QUALITY PAID IDLE games nowdays...

    The genre has been gaining tons of popularity..

    Its my favorite genre since Soda Dungeon.

    I am also making non IDLE games that functions great here...

    I know you gonna recommend me use the date function... but that totally makes the game way harder to be made then to just let it runing on background...

    Not all IDLE GAMES have offline earnings.. some idle games require minimum interaction...

    So could you help me? =)

  • Solved my bug!!! It turns out I didnt have enough GB space!!

  • If you run in to any problems please file an issue following all the guidelines. Please note it's impossible to help without those details, which is why we have this process, and why it is usually impossible to help if you only mention things on the forum like this.

    I tried first fileing my bug report then I read the guidelines that says I must upload my project.... I am trying to even tough I dont think I can file a new report... bc It says its closed...

  • I see, I would suggest you try to open the project with no extensions active, eg: in an incognito tab.

    If error presists then you could take a screenshot of you developer tools window of the network tab and the console.

    The error message posted above don't give much information except that some fetch failed.

    Btw this is a new project... Not the one I am trying to open...

  • Whats the best way of implementing a save??

    I heard that when we use the save function , it crashes to some people?

    Or are those dudes just trolls?

    I never experienced the game not saving but some of my players are complaining about that...

    I use the prebuilt save function of construct 3...

    Do I need to use LocalStorage?

  • Ok look I know you dont want to change the ability for us to select a variable instead of typing it bc it could make it more diffuclt for new users...

    So why not enable an option in the project settings that enable us to deactivate variable selection so we can type it?

    It ocurred to me that I might be missing something when it comes to making dynamic armor sprites...

    I was wondering what would be the easyest way for making dynamic armor ex: dynamic chest, dynamic hands, dynamic feet, dynamic helm??

    Does anyone has any clue?

  • I think you can do that with system > evaluate expression. Or worst case put logic like that in javascript.
