  • This having to login everytime I visit scirra is getting annoying now. I visit a couple times a day, and everytime it asks me to login. Sigh!

  • Very hard to beat scirra's signalling server. It is a beast.

    But as RamPackWobble says, not being supported during beta.

  • I just had to log in yet again. Same machine, always getting logged out automatically after a few hours even if I don't close the browser.

    Agree with everyone. Different tools, and when making a choice you have to weigh your options because changing halfway in a project is suicide

    The question is what is the 5% going to cost you.

    See tulamide example above, but that is too little money for 2 years worth of work. So in order to justify 2 years work you need to make at least $100,000

    That means...

    Epic gets $5000 + $456

    vs

    $1800 from unity 3d (2 years at $75) and that is if you need the pro features.

  • You can export to ouya (ouya is android) so you will use cocoonjs or other. Construct2 on OUYA

    Multiplayer has just been implemented via beta release.

    Or you can make your own (many ways see tutorial section)

    But multiplayer isn't easy no matter what software you use...

    I downloaded r164 at 8 am, and a couple of minutes ago again. Just to be sure I also downloaded r163 once more...

    but wiht the badge not awarded, i'm not sure if anything of that "counts".

    It logs your ip and username and date/time each time you download, so don't worry. You are entered.

    New forum structure throws me, didn't realize it was posted in that forum. The breadcrumbs aren't as obvious anymore. Probably because I am color blind and it blends with background color.

    Also didn't notice the age of this post, so agree it was bumped.

  • I have it installed on 32bit and 64 bit machine. The license is on a per user basis, not what machine you use. 1 license equals 1 user.

    Everyone, avoid fake companies that do not do any work, that do not pay money to others.

    That isn't a fake company, it is just a company that hasn't paid its fees and filed its report.

    Which makes this poster the ceo of nothing at the moment.

    But agree, my chest hairs are tingling on this one... any contracts drawn up under this company name is void/null etc.

    and what is suspect is director is only 22 years old and poster talks about all this experience... Ummm, it doesn't add up.

    Suggest poster get his ducks in line... quickly, or tarnish his reputation.

    It's not. Node webkit has no hardware acceleration for XP and vista.

    XP is being discontinued and a dinosaur (still a fantastic OS, but no updates means time to move on - sniff sniff), and vista - well, Um, um, um,
