  • Why don't you save your work as a cst file.Ive found that if i save my games as actual templates then it doesn't corrupt so much.

  • Has anyone seen the blade kitten demo?.It looks fantastic although the gameplay is a bit rough around the edges.

  • Yes i know it's pretty simple already.but doing it like that would make it easier.I got the sdk of CS and im going to have a go at creating such a plugin.

  • My contract for the advertising business ended 2 days ago ,At least i made a pretty penny out of it,I made 4 ads for a new local cell company called 8.ta.But now im taking a breather and focusing on finishing my games with Construct and the other game engines i have.

And i got to play on a dev version of the ps3 and xbox360,It was pretty awesome.Although programming games for the ps3 seems to be a coders nightmare. The xbox360 is easy enough using a specialized directX code to create the games. It's amazing how the coding differs on the xbox360 compared to the ps3.

I would love to own one of those sweet dev kits ,But thats way above my price tag im afraid.

  • Best of luck to you Davioware,I for one cannot wait for your game to be released.

  • Oh yes that problem,Im still fixing that,It's the hotspot that's in the wrong place on the pen.

  • Nice!

It's surprisingly easy to make a basic "crayon physics" type game...

For some reason drag and drop with the speed boosts doesn't want to work for me, though.

You have to put the speed boosts at strategic points

I was also surprised at how easy it was.

  • Thank you very much.

  • I think it can be done with a plugin already but a scoring system which you do not have to create any event's for it.Almost like the oldskool KnP scoring system. And the same goes for lives and counters.

  • If your going to sell any games especially indie games then a demo of the game is essential. Also it wouldn't hurt to do some marketing to see if the genre or idea is popular or not.And with so much "free" indie games out there it would be difficult to sell it.One thing ive learned over the years with indie gaming is that the general public could care less how you did the game and what program you used to create it.As long as a game is fun to play then it will sell,But genre popularity is equally important.

  • Really good tutorials can and should be added to the wiki - but those are aimed at general beginner tutorials, guides for a specific area shouldn't be on that page... maybe another wiki page could be made?

I agree with that.Tutorials are always needed.

  • Try Construct 3
