  • [quote:35enhwic]EDIT: Nevermind, I solved this while randomly clicking around.

I hope you solved it by discovering that you could add the Mouse & Keyboard object, and using it's On Mouse Button Clicked condition.

If not, that's how you do it

  • How about not just plugins, but other Construct-specific stuff that people make? Like .fx files, or even apps or .caps like Meshugger or Platform Tool? Basically any stuff that extends the functionality of Construct.

  • LOL

    Yeah, that looks pretty annoying

  • Containers. (Edit: took off https authentication -Ashley)

  • I thought about it, and started a small puzzle game the other night, but I couldn't get my prototype working in a reasonable amount of time (reasonable meaning if I had any hope of finishing such a short compo). It was going to be kind of a pipe-dream-meets-sliding-block-puzzle-thing where you have to connect wires to turn on a light. I lack the skillz to get the electricity flowing properly from one block to another without muddling through via trial and error over a long period of time . I know I could eventually make it work, but not in a week, and definitely not any kind of decent looking game.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I don't know of any.

Actually, I believe Blender has a game engine that uses drag & drop nodes, but A) I've never used it so I don't know what it's like, and B) I've heard their game engine ******

3D engines generally require coding knowledge. Usually C# or C++. If you're willing to learn a language then check out XNA or Unity.

  • No.

  • Sure.

  • Um... it's not for chat. It's to keep bots from spamming the board.

The fact that you can't talk in chat until you pass the test is just a side-effect.

  • Looks like they're not going to limit .exe's after all:

Not that I was terribly worried about that. It would just be a knee-jerk reaction and ultimately wouldn't have been very effective in stemming malware.

    Bonus:

Read a bit further back in the thread where I piss off some dude
