    Web Preview

    It has a normal behavior, in a glance it showed None then automatically showed 1. Then after each touch, it increments 1, 2, etc.

    The Spriter Character shows successfully.

    iOS Export

    It shows None then after clicking it shows an incremented number per touch, 1, 2, etc.

    The Spriter Character doesn't show successfully.

  • Hey lucid, thanks for the Spriter 2 alpha release on the Scirra Store.

    Anyway, I've been having trouble getting Spriter to work on iOS, the scml plugin fails to initialize on iOS export. I would make a sample file but a simple On Initialized event condition check is enough.

    Android is fine though.

    Can you please fix it. Thanks a lot.

  • This comes up from time to time. We'd have done it already if it was possible, but currently browsers don't support it. Star this issue to encourage development in Chrome.

  • A Construct 3 Suggestion that will improve performance.

    Salman_Shh made a great suggestion on the Construct 3 Suggestions Website.

    For those who don't know what the Frame Rate Lock is, it is the ever famous suggestion for Construct 2 that wasn't implemented. Basically, this feature will cap the FPS to whatever frame limit you want.

    This is a feature that most game engines have to improve performance on weaker devices, make performance or GFX options, or manage FPS entirely.

    Benefits of this feature

    The benefit of this feature, is that we can control the FPS limit, scale and improve the performance of Construct Games to our liking. This is a good way to increase performance by lessening the load of the game from the redundant frames, if the extra graphical frames isn't needed in your game.

    This is incredibly useful, for example, Mobile Games. Most professional Mobile Games lock their game FPS to around 24FPS to 30FPS, this is to improve performance & battery life and reduce power consumption.

    Most professional games do this, I don't see why we shouldn't take advantage of this optimization too.

    This is a popular feature that most Construct 2 users longed for but this feature was denied. But since Construct 3 has more support because of its better editor & runtime and great subscription pricing. We can finally get features that would or are impossible to have on Construct 2.

    One of the important features is this one. Please, again, vote for this. Comment too about the things that you think might help the thread.

    A feature request for a Google Play Games plugin for Construct 2 was requested and approved for Support Voting. Vote now to get the feature request implemented or cancelled.

    If the voting result is neutral, draw or positive in majority, the feature will be implemented. Otherwise, if the voting result is negative in majority, it will be cancelled.

    The implementation of feature requests are only once per month. So, if a vote is approved and implemented from supporter's votes. The next feature request approval or implementation will be till the next month or so.

    So, if you are a supporter, pick wisely on which features you want implemented on the current month or so.

  • It's really hard to do server-side implementations neatly on Construct 2 or Construct 3 using either JS Sheets or AJAX requests alone. I tried before and it was alright at first but as things get complicated, it gets harder and messy. That's why I made the PlayFab Master Collection.

    The Construct 3 : Google Play and Construct 3 : Mobile Advert are forked from Cordova plugins made by Cordova developers who released it free for use, and so are the Construct 3 Cordova plugins.

    So if you made your own Construct 2 plugins using the Construct 3 Cordova plugins, those should be legal as it is not stealing, for it is already publicly available on GitHub & NPMjs.

    Hi. What you are looking for is the PlayFab Master Collection and that is included in the Construct Master Collection.

    Yes, you can use the PlayFab Server Time as your guide. It is on the Title Manager plugin.

    Yes too, you can get the Gold data, for example, from either the User Data plugin, Publisher (Studio Data) plugin, Virtual Currencies plugin or the Cloud Script plugin, the equivalent of Firebase FireStore of PlayFab, but focused on Ease of Use and Games unlike Firebase, which is only general-purpose.

    I don't see why you can't post the data to another site or server. You can AJAX or use the PlayFab SDK if you want. It's as easy as requesting and receiving a JSON string.

  • Hi, yes is right. camboriu It is a normal behavior and we have no choice but to store it in a cloud storage. If you want a game professionally made, you need a decent approach. That's why my Construct Master Collection has the PlayFab Master Collection.

    It's a good investment as it is progressively upgraded. But I'm just advising as a mobile game developer that had lots of failed attempts into creating a clean account cloud sync in the event sheet without an addon before creating the addon collection.
