  • I’m curious to know if I could create a game using Construct 3 and then sell it to a different developer who doesn’t use Construct 3 as an engine.

  • I’m trying to integrate this API onto C2 https://faucethub.io/api

They say it’s easy to setup but C2 is a no coding platform, how would I do this? If anyone could make a quick capx example too that would be extremely appreciated, just trying to figure this out.

  • Do I seriously need to contact every developer for the Construct 2 Plugins I use to convert them to Construct 3? I want to use Construct 3 but I use 3 Plugins that are C2 and not updated to C3. Why isn’t there a better way to do this? How come C2 projects are supported in C3 but not C2 Plugins in C3?

  • Hah, thanks guys! Glad the assets all come in handy, created some new ones;

You’re a life saver when it comes to assets.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • rexrainbow This is very interesting, still trying to figure out how this works. I understand that all the information is being shown in the Chrome Console, and I think that it learns from whatever is being shown on the canvas but I’m not entirely shown. I’m trying to use this to make an AI Chatbot.

Edit: Possibly an updated version of this and a quick explanation of how it works would be nice

  • "How hard could it be?" is usually best answered by giving it a go yourself. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I knew I’d regret my wording. I mean, I didn’t see it too complicated as I’ve seen plenty of basic Chatbot websites, and there’s even an Android app.

  • I’ve had this idea that I thought would be an amazing project, but I’m not sure if it’s possible or “easy” to do.

Basically I wanted to create a Chatbot in Construct 2, put text to speech on it, allow microphone access, put it in an HTML5 website, put it on a Raspberry PI, 3D Print the case, then try to teach it stuff.

Would trying to make a Chatbot in Construct 2 really be that difficult? As far as I know, simple AI basically just listens to stuff you say and experiments with the words until it’s actual English.

I wanted to create this just so I could toy around with it, I don’t see Google Home, Alexa, or Siri as AI at all, they’re programmed to give specific responses, and when there isn’t one, instead of trying to think of something to say, it’ll simply say “I do not understand. Try again”, but with this the AI will actually learn and develop around the user’s personality.

How hard can it be? Honestly.

Edit: By “How hard can it be?” I literally meant, “Would this be difficult or possible?”

  • The store issues have been reported to Tom but it's the weekend, so it's doubtful it will be looked into earlier than Monday.

I thought that was just me

So if the freelancer sent me the Capx and I bought a C3 Plan and opened it there, then I’d be allowed to put it on the Playstore with ads?

This freelancer has a Construct 2 license but I do not, eventually I was planning to buy a license so I could update the game myself, can I do this? I feel like I can as this is done with big companies, you have the developers then the publishers.

I am currently seeking clarification, but from previous similar posts, I would say that if you intend to gain financially, then you are in violation of the free license agreement.

In addition, looking at the licensing terms it looks like any user who creates an APK for you which has bypassed the free license limitation may also be in violation of the terms.

    Licensing terms:

This is just from my understanding from previous similar posts, but as soon as I get any info from Tom I'll let you know.

    Cheers

Hm... Well I was going to do it this way as the Construct 2 pricing is expensive, then if I reach $5000 in revenue I’ll have to upgrade, that’s a small investment for me. I really wish Construct 2 does what Construct 3 does, for indie developers allow unlimited revenue on personal plans, then again I have to worry about $100 a year rather than the one-time payment, it’s tough.

zenox98 Where can I go to learn more about the Construct 3 pricing? The biggest concern is if I don’t pay for next years $99, will I just lose the right to make revenue? It’s very confusing.

    Hi,

the budget seems very low for all the tasks you are asking.

    Regards

    Andy

All I need is an online leaderboard, a new autogeneration system (WITH CAPX EXAMPLE PROVIDED) and JUST coins randomly generated around the level, no shop, no items, for $35.

  • STILL LOOKING!

  • Hello everyone!

I’m looking for someone to add a few thing into my game, like an online leaderboard, shop system, and a new autogeneration System with a Capx provided for $35.

This is for an infinite runner game.

  • I'm using the free version of Photon which supports 20 players online at the same time. What happens when a 21st player tries to connect?
