  • Basically in the autorunner everytime you die the layout simply resets, in my case, I don’t want the layout to reset so I need the player to be moved back into the beginning position when they fall off and the screen needs to be focused on the player so they can play again.

    I have it so when they fall off the MoveTo Plugin moves the player back into position, but the screen doesn’t focus on the player so the game gets soft-locked. I’ve tried various different things but can’t get it to work. How do I reset the bullet Angle?/focus the layout back in the player?

  • There is a similar plugin - RandomPlus.

    But I recommend Seed Random - the beauty of this plugin is that it modifies the built-in random generator in C2. You simply install it, define the seed and don't have to change anything else in your code.

  • Instead of "true random" you can use Seed Random plugin:

    If you generate the seed based on the current date and then generate level, it will be the same for all players.

    You just need to take into account possible time difference (maybe use GST or UTC time instead of local time on player's device).

    Sweet I’ll check this out, also time zones may be a minor problem but I have it covered.

  • I’m attempting to make my autorunner game multiplayer compatiable, but the randomly generate drama platforms interfere with the multiplayer as each player has a different randomly generated layout when I want them all to be the same. Help is much appreciated.

  • Yet you haven’t deleted it. I just said before there is no X. When did I say there was an X, if there was an X I would’ve deleted it instead of STILL commenting on this thread and bumping it to the top. I saw X’s on some comments but not on this post. There is no X, You are a moderator, yet everyone is telling me to contact a Mod. Seriously?

    Edit: Misread what you said before. There is no X, I don’t see an X, If there was an X why would I have edited it saying “Deleted”? And if it was a problem why haven’t you deleted it. Horrible forum experience, I make ONE post and I don’t have functions and the moderators are awful. I thought you were talking about Newt’s pun not the X, I would’ve got that the first time if you didn’t crop it so poorly without an explanation. You showed Newt’s pun and said “Don’t you get this?” Like “You don’t get the pun, contact the mod and delete the post!”

    Not trying to be disrespectful I’m just trying extremely hard to show you I can’t delete it myself, I’ve explained I can’t delete it myself, and you won’t delete it.

    Also this thread had nothing to offer, just a question nobody would answer, like every other post here, rarely does a post get answered, whenever I Google questions I’m lead to posts where they had to bump it fourteen times before they got a horrible response.

  • I have an online multiplayer infinite autorunner, I focused all my time on getting multiplayer working that I can’t figure out the infinite autorunner and it’s all buggy. I will pay $10 through Fiverr to get it fixed, for those of you who don’t know Fiverr is a freelance website so you get paid in PayPal at the end. (Or other ways too, not sure)
