  • Is there a fast way to copy actions in an event sheet ant then copy past to another event sheet?

I just created all these behaviors for a character, and I just want to import them to another event sheet. Does anyone know a way short of redoing it again? I also, found the paste option limiting.

  • Getting a spelling game together--

Okay, I know how to get a score to show related to pick-ups but how do I get specific items to show they are collected when the player makes contact with them? Case in point--

  • Thanks guys, I didn't know I was being to vague, I have to take a break from this project, but I will have better questions next time around with screen shots.

    Also, Hi CJK,

First off, the game is great, did you use clip art or did you make the art yourself?

Secondly, yes this helps. So let me ask..

How did you get the words to generate?

I would guess you choose a level system right, with a prefixed word and graphics.

    Have you considered a randomizer?

  • Whiteclaws, No prob, it's a big world of oppertunites these days, feel free to drop me line anytime with a game release, if it's good, I always tell others.

  • How would I make a Spelling Game?

Okay, so here are the events in mind.

    1) Character grasp a letter like a coin on button press.

    2) A noise rings for player feed back.

    3) *The letters collected appear on the screen in a on screen inventory box.

    4) *The player only scores when they spell a word by collecting the letters in order.

    5) *If they get the wrong letter, they have to get rid of the letter and grab the right letter.

These are the parts I'm having issues with, how do I get the letters they collect to appear on the screen.

Also, how do I get bonus points for special words or the week?

Please share any back-links as well you tutorials, blogs, or videos you feel helps.

    Thanks...

  • I have a Masters in Business Entertainment, so I am familiar with pipeline, and workflow development, communication, etc, and I am artist and recent spriter. I am also familiar with making sound effects and music, not the best, but if you play my first game on my profile, you can hear some of the work I did with my students.

I'm interested, but "%" in futures, ownership issues, kickstarter funds spent, etc. I have still a ton of questions before I join.

Also I really want to join a OUYA games team, but C2 needs a OUYA wrapper, so we need a good coder or access to a decent wrapper if we are going to try for their $50,000 USD prize. Of course, making a smaller game is cool too for a smaller kickstarter goal.

  • fudgeman,

I'm looking to join a team, but if so, I have a lot of concerns that are never really addressed in team-up posts. However, if you can develop a CC wrapper to port and work on the OUYA platform, I may join you.

    Whiteclaws still looking for artists?

    Check out my DA

  • Good Ref :)

  • , tell me if it worked, I am having a similar issue with my game. Characters just get stuck on desks. I tried making the collision masks largest to no avail.

It's a lovely gallery, do you have a deviant art account?

I may want to buy some cars from you since I make art myself but don't have a lot of time.

PM your rates, a license of use, and a preferred work for hire... To be honest, I have all three in mind, so please be prepared to negotiate.

  • Ashley, please check out the game I made with students, tell me what you think if you can. It's the only game I have in the arcade.

I have three blog posts about three days of the camp we did but have three more blogs to do about the six day camp we had making assets for C2. I post the here when I get all six days blogged. We are also taking about 10-15 minutes to play the current version of the game each class at my middle school in nonsan S.Korea. They love it, I'm trying to use it as a starting point to talk about html5 and JavaScript.

  • My students and I are in South Korea, can we participate?

  • What is your team roster needed? Meaning, you must be the artist bc you only want devs? Also a strategy game in less than 100 events? And, no NDA or % offers?

  • Ash, here you go, just send me a link to the game when it's done, also I made some changes to help your process. For example, clear is better than white. Trust me on this one.

    It's here!
