farfetchd83 I finally got it working, after hours of studying how the code worked and making it work with my game, I have a fully working prototype! Sure it's still rough and I need to add collision stuff but either way, that small forum you gave me has saved me so much time. Thanks a lot dude :) https://streamable.com/rkd7yv
Wow man, this looks very useful, I can not believe I haven't found this yet. I'll check it out and get back to you after I finish homework tonight.

So I think my question might be complicated(mainly cus physics get wack). the game's code right now is just supppppperr jank because I was messing with multiple solutions and scrapped other ideas, so they might be useless variables, etc. I've been banging my head for a while now, and have not thought of a good enough solution on this one. searched up plenty of rope tutorials and whatnot, I learned a lot from it but not enough for me to figure this system out. honestly might switch the system to something simpler, like idk spawn a rope behind the body, and with some collisions make it siphon out as I impulse the arm. sry if this is rly simple or my code is atrocious but this is like the first game I've made from scratch so that's why.
