  • Hi Aldo tanku,

You can use the WebStorage object to store game data! This link should provide you with all of the information you need (WebStorage).

  • Hi Desory,

Not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve, so this may not be the correct answer for you! But have you tried using the bullet behaviour for your laser.

Using this behaviour would allow you to control the deflection angle which is shown in your event sheet. It would also give you control over the lasers movement and speed.

    Hope this information helps

  • Rory, nice looking game, I hope it does well. I'll keep watching this space :)

  • Sounds cool, can't wait to see the results!

  • delgado,

Don't worry, I've found the answer!

Yes just tried the apk, and I get the Cocoon splash screen, but then just goes to a black screen afterwards.

I'm using HTC Desire running Android 4.1 :)

  • delgado,

Happy to help if I can, but I've never installed .apk before, only ever used Cocoon launcher. How do I install and run this file, is it simple to do?

Let me know and I'll give it a try for you!

    Thanks :)

  • Hey delgado,

I've been experiencing lots of problems with Cocoon recently. I've also been getting a black screen, and sometimes the launcher doesn't even start.

I was thinking it could have something to do with the launch of their updated system at the end of this month (but I don't know that for sure).

  • Hi GROM,

You can find lots of good information about spawning new sprites in the

    'How do I' section!

  • Try Construct 3

  • cmilian,

Yes I did consider GM (very briefly), but you're right it's far too expensive!

Anyway, welcome to the wonderful world of C2!

  • Hi JoshWegener,

You could put the red and green characters on different layers (1 above the wall layer and one below). That way the green sprites would always look as if they are walking behind the wall.

    Hope that helps you!

Edit - Sorry, think I may have misread the post! But if you are looking for a way to make your sprites walk behind the wall the same advice applies. Just make sure that you spawn your sprites on a layer which is below the wall layer!

  • Nice work Dave Hailwood, and that's all without the help of the upcoming hint option (just think of the possibilities then!! ;)

Don't forget to post where you've uploaded Board Horde, and I'll help to spread the word!!!

  • Arcanebits,

    Useful advice, thank you!

Cocoon has been acting up for the last few days now, I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the update they're scheduled to release at the end of this month?

I guess I'll know soon enough!

  • Thanks for the warning, I'll keep an eye open.

  • Dave Hailwood,

Thanks, it was a nice surprise! I'm in the process of adding a hint option, so keep trying you'll score that point yet ;)

Let me know when you've uploaded Board Horde to some social sites, and I can get my friends to check it out!

  • Hi Aldo tanku,

There is a topic on this subject, and it should tell you everything you need to know about adding new plugins into Construct 2.

How to install plugins and behaviors

    Hope that helps :)
