  • Hi. I submitted my app to the Amazon appstore but they rejected it and said some code is shown on launch.

    Has anyone else this problem? I exported my project for the Amazon Appstore and entered the verifikation/app key to get a .json file.

    I uploaded everything to my server and it seems to run fine there. But the appstore test gets an error.

    I created a ticket and got a reply from them.

    [quote:83uueson]Thank you for writing in. After installing & launching the app on device, we are able to see the below json file on device

    ----

    {

    "verification_key": "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx",

    "launch_path": "index.html",

    "permissions": [ ],

    "type": "web",

    "version": "1.2",

    "created_by": "Bl4ckSh33p-Soft"

    }

    ----

    It seems there is a misconfiguration in URL, rather than referring .html file you might be referring to json file.

    Why does it show the .json file when they test it? I don't see it when I run it on my PC or mobile.

  • Looks nice. But dont have an android device to test it right now. :/

  • I used the clay.io plugin for my games, it supports leaderboards and achievements. But I don't know if it works with Cocoon JS.

  • Chrome/Windows says its a suspicious file and suggests to remove it. :/

  • Very nice! Reminds me of Ikaruga.

  • Hi! Today, my very first app has been approved and it is a tool for the game The Elder Scrolls Online.

    It is called "ESO Research Assistant" (ESORA) and it will track your research and feeding time and let you know when you can start something new or when your horse is hungry wherever you are.

    Feedback:

    Feedback is very much appreciated. Please let me know what you think about it or if you have any suggestions to improve it.

    Availability:

    ESORA is available for mobile phones, tablets and desktops and should run well on almost any device.

    You can get it on clay.io for only $0.99 (about 0,72€; includes free updates, fixes and new features).

  • Hi. We use Construct 2 for Games and Apps but we just started.

    I believe http://notiongames.com/ (one of their games is available in the Scirra store) uses it, too.

  • Hi! I tried to create a function for my countdown app but I encountered a problem when I tried to set a (global) variable which was passed as parameter 0.

    Is there no way to set a variable by name (as string)? When I use the "Set Value" action I have a list of all variables but can't enter the name of the variable.

  • This would be great!

  • Hi! I tried to create a new app but there is no verification key in my Files Tab (mentioned in the tutorial (http://www.scirra.com/tutorials/623/how ... n-appstore) and needed when you export your game for Amazon). How or where do I get it?

    I tried it with the "Application Key". Is this the right one?

    (btw: I hosted it on my server and set a price of $0.99. But if anyone opens the url on my server he can access it for free?)

  • Hi! I created a countdown/timer app and added a sound notification if the timer expires. But this only works if the app is currently running.

    Is there a way to notifiy users when the app/game is not running or not the currently active app on screen (it has to be launched but dont has to be the active app on screen)?

  • Its running as mobile app in the browser (on iOS/Android) (not packaged). I assumed this would work on Kindle, too.

    I used only one plugin to get system date/time ().

    The app is hosted on clay.io but not approved, yet (and costs 0.99$). But I can upload it on my server so you can test it.

    Does it have to be in a special (export)format to run on Kindle?

    I can send you a private message with the URL and login details.

  • I created a simple countdown-app and I submitted it to Amazon but it got rejected twice because it does not run on Kindle (old and new devices). They said: "Upon launch, the app force closes, crashes, or displays only a blank screen." Its really just a few text objects, a few static sprites and simple math which should run on almost any 10 year old calculator. :-/

    I dont have a Kindle to test it so its hard to say why it does not work.
