  the latest download VS Studio Express 2013 with update 3. It just appears you need to be on the windows 8 operating system.

  Version 12.0.30723.00 Update 3

  Yes have the latest 2013 with update 3. I also tried the other construct 2 export options with similar results in VS.

  When I click through one of the links for more information I get this:

  which is why I thought I may need windows 8.x

  I think it must be device specific. works on the Motorola Xoom tablet, but not on the HTC 1 mini. Tried simplifying the game and still got the same result. It even happens in the first menu layout which is just a button press and a noise.
