  • I am designing a game menu for my mobile game.

    The items like Start sprite etc got Boinding Box collision.

    My question is, is boinding box and disabled collision the same thing because they act like the same. If i disable collision on a sprite it still dedects the touch in the same area as boinding box.

    Which one is better for a game menu / level select etc.?

  • I saw this phone named Jola on youtube.

    It got Sailfish OS.

    The UI is pretty and the user experience looks better then android.

  • Awesome graphics, by the way don't forget something like Yoshi in your game. Super Mario World was epic because Yoshi and his challenged maps. I still play that game.

  • Microsoft made xbox one only for USA? The services they provide does not work worldwide. Big mistake of Microsoft, Sony has more chance to sell to europe and asia then Microsoft. A little indie game market app in this new gen consoles is something that must be! The new COD GHOST got good graphics but the old style 2D games are still funnier to play like Super Ubi Land. It's a month work for this big company's to make a Game/App Market for small games with HTML5 support. This would be better then most services they provide like talking to your xbox :D, it's a joke!

    About

    The Construct2 debugger, coded with the libraries of awesomium for Construct2. It took me a day to design so it can have some bugs, if you share them i will do my best to fix it. It has some resolution options where you can get a clear view how your game looks in difirent sizes. Hope you like it. It's open source, if you know something about .net you know its possible to see the codes it's not crypted.

    Setup

    The setup is easy, install the software.(got 2 .dll's 1 .exe)

    1.In Construct2 choose under preferences/html5 exporter the option "custom browser" and select the installed browser.exe in the "Program files/Ethem acar/exe/browser.exe".

    2.Choose in the game options "preview browser" option "Custom" and try it out! Don't forget to leave a comment.

  • Hi my suggestion is; 'is it possible to add a preview size option for Construct2?' Like a dropdown box with options like SVGA,WSVGA,XGA,WXGA etc. <font size="1">(Found on en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution)%3C/font%3E When we hit preview button the demo would run in the resolution option chosed in the dropdown box. This should be awesome for smartphone developers.

    What about an add-on like a button and when we click it, we can see pictures of how our selected layout shows up in real life resolutions? In this add-on if i choose SVGA in the dropdown options, i would see a picture of what my layout shows on SVGA devices(800,480 or 480,800) and could develop faster to fix problems that shows up because of the resolution changes. Just a picture is enough.

    Why is this important? When i want a clear view of how my game shows in GalaxyS2 i have to build it for cocoonjs and run it in the launcher. But when i want a view of GalaxyS3 resolution of my game i have to borrow my brothers phone. But that's all the smartphones we got at home. I cant make test runs on an iphone or ipad4 because i don't have it. One of this suggestions would be very nice to see how my games shows up in all resolutions/devices.

    There is already this tutorial. If you provide us something useful with PHP etc. I would buy it but not something that already exist.

  • Add sprites around your teleport. If the player touches the sprite the teleport will be active again. If the player uses the teleport it will be disabled until he touches the sprite around the teleport. This will stop your loop.

    Minor improvements please. My wish is seeing C2 running Mobile Projects as fast as running them on computer browsers, but i understand that there's a limitation related with every mobile device, browsers, etcetera.

    Big thanks to you guys. Getting such a great piece of software with such a small team working on it it's amazing.
