  I tried with a different sprite than the arrow and it stops working.

  It works clockwise but not so much counterclowise. How do I tell the computer when the object is rotating counter-clockwise?

  C2 has the largest community of all the 2D game engines. Despite non developing natively for mobile, if you're a beginner and you're stuck in a critical point, you have more chances to find help here than with MMF or Stencyl. At least that's my impression.

  Not sure if this is possible: I want to apply an effect only to a part of an object and specifically the part that I'm hovering over with the mouse cursor or the touch input.

  I saw this asteroids clone for android where you can rotate the ship with a touch input wheel/circle: you move your finger on the wheel/circle and the ship rotates accordingly. Is there a tutorial or a template where it's explained how to do it?

  You might try using search in the Forum and Tutorial sections for examples. There are many examples and discussions.

  Those tuts are about the game mechanics but I wanted to know a way to draw a maze.

  I have problems changing the grid size: sometimes I can change only the width, sometimes it doesn't work at all.
