  • I'm looking at jumping onto some of my older projects on C2, and I was interested in adding interstitial ads to my game, as I am getting a fillrate of 6% with Mopub which is an absolute joke ! I see people are under the impression that interstitial ads are fullscreen ads only, to my knowledge they are fullscreen ads, but more importantly, they are Web Ads. The main difference between these ads quite simply is the fill rate and how they are fetched as well as not needing to have a ad ID# on an interstitial ads, whereas you need an ad ID# for a Banner AD.

There is a big difference between a regular fullscreen ad and an interstitial ad. Basically interstitial ads are the real way to go with regard to profit and fill rate.

    Does Construct 2 provide this?

I have a question for you gents, on this video you made------->

    Subscribe to Construct videos now

at 0:46 you show some expiremental features with a head turn.

I watched it over and over and just couldn't work out how you implemented it.

What are these Sub-Entites and how can I access them on my Pro version?

    Thanks in advance

Just wanted to let you guys know how happy I am with the new Spriter and its features. If anyone wants to go Pro, I really suggest you show some love and get that Early Adopters promo. I bought it and I couldn't be happier. I have an iphone 5 , I can get 17 fairly sized spriter objects moving at 60fps on my device. Really a bargain for something that will set your games aside from the amateur builds.

  • Hi Mike, Just got your message now, was away for a few days.

I just e-mailed you everything you will need.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Kind Regards

Me again, sorry to be a pain.

Let me explain my latest progress, I have managed to import the .scon after I imported the .scml

And while I have success with the preview in a browser, when I export my project with the Minify Script either on or off for Cocoonjs,

I still have no success with regards to the actual images animating....

I can see my sprites just sitting there, Sad, Lonely Just waiting, wanting to work.

    But they are Placid

Why is it that they are only working in the preview browser but not in my Cocoonjs Export?

I should mention, I am an iOS user, not an android user.

Is there anyway you can assist me with this issue?

It's just that I cannot get it to work on Cocoonjs. It works everywhere else.

Thanks for the reply, I do have both the save options both ticked. Basically what happens is that I drag a .scml into my C2 Project, I choose my event sheet and all is good, however when I drag the .scon file into my project, and then select the event sheet, it brings up an error with regards to a missing file.... and then when I open my spriter project, the images are missing and it shows a red block with wording in its place.

I really really really wanna buy this $25 pro version, but if I cannot get it to work on cocoonjs, it seems a waste to me....

If you could do a short step by step on how to export everything, maybe make a short checklist?

I would really appreciate that from your side as I may be making an error somewhere...

    Kind regards

I have tried to import a .scon file into my project, however it brings up an error saying files are missing. when I open the project in Spriter through Construct, it shows the images missing???? pretty sure it's a bug of some kind. I can get the scml files in there with no problems. Just wanna get this working on Cocoonjs Please help if you can

Any possibility you gents could shed some light on how to integrate mopub with iAD AND Admob into an IOS project? It seems as though I have everything set up, but I believe I have to arrange some xcode settings before I export, not too sure whats going on now.

    1) Do I need to put the banner id code integration into the cocoonjs compiler, or the actual advert name?

2)I'm getting this review process message on Mopub, will this prevent me from having any ads shown?

    3) Do I need to implement the Mopub SDK full.zip into my xcode prject somehow? If so, some help would really be appreciated.

    Kind regards

How do you manage to implement the final export in Xcode?

It seems as though the whole set up is a lot more complicated than what it sounds. I can't seem to get the adverts to show on ADHOC tests.

Some help would be really awesome.

I did manage to resolve this issue with the old IAP system provided by Cocoonjs, However there is a new IAP feature that Construct 2 offers. I have figured that out as well. Leave me your e-mail address and I can send you an event sheet of how to set up and save your in-app purchases, and how to restore products. If you have any other questions, just feel free to ask :)

  • Anyone?

  • A little bit lost on how the IAP for Construct 2 actually work. If I wanted to make an ADHOC for my game and test Constructs new IAP system, how would I know if it is 100% working? I see no place to put the shared secret key... or is that the Item group ID? If anyone has registered a successful transaction, it would be a great tutorial. Really need some help regarding this.

    Thanks

  • I can't seem to get it to animate in cocoonjs on IOS...

Is there something simple I may be overlooking.

It works just fine on my browser.

Also, I always get an error when I save it as .scon and try import it into C2. Error Loading Texture (very long error) and also saying I am using a checked version of C2 which is probably just not a stable release...

Can anyone help me get this working on cocoonjs for IOS?
