  • Shinkan,

Any possibility you can share your discovery. I would like to implement something like this as well. I would like to be able to drag and object anywhere, and wait a second or so, and then on release the object should move, bounce, or slide, back into its original position.

  • Howdy all!

I just bought my personal license, and have no idea how to update my r99 version to the licensed version. I received the codes etc. Plugged the numbers into the fields here on this site after my purchase, yet my program is still running the free version. Is there another step or handful of steps to be taken to activate the personal version? I've tried searching these forums, but the forum search will not recognize phrases, leaving way to many unrelated topics to sift through.

    Any help would be awesome!

  • I was in the process of trying to learn HTML5, CSS3, js, and jquery (since they all kinda go together). To help in my learning process I started following js and html5 game tute's on youtube. I found a C2 tutorial on youtube and decided to take C2 for a spin. The first day I downloaded it, I wound up so intrigued and excited, that I stayed up throughout the entire night that evening! Wow this program is so cool!

Oh and those event sheet examples earlier in this thread with the gals overlapping each other were hysterical!!!! Wow you guys make huge huge funny! Loved it.

  • I think this plugin has a great deal of potential!

I'm not sure I've downloaded any plugins yet, but I'll give it a try.

Pode can you use any type of mic?

  • Wow I'm so excited! Glad to have gotten around to reading this thread. I have not been able to log in here for a while. I followed "Old Confection's" steps, and ...YIPPY! I was thinking about bugging Ash and Tom about my issue in an email, but waited a little while to avoid totally pestering them. Thanks for posting that reply Old Confection!

    I'm very grateful.

       EDIT~~

I got so excited about finally getting into the forums again. I was holding off on purchasing my personal license until this problem was resolved. I'm back in, and I just bought my personal license....YIPPY again! Now I just need to go figure out how to activate it.

  • I just got done mentioning this guy in another thread. My apologies if redundant. However if you go the website... audionautix.com

You can see his requirements for using his free music. He says "Toss a dollar or two in my guitar case? Karma for you. Coffee for me." I would imagine that there are plenty others like him. If I'm not being too idealistic.

  • Thanks for the explanation! You do great work, and I was only curious.

I'm awaiting approval from paypal to start using my account. I needed to modify my old account. I'm not really all that into purchasing a lot of stuff on the net, but I'll be happy when the account is active, so I can tip persons like yourself who generously share knowledge (although I'm not sure that you accept tips at this time, as I didn't check your blog before penning this entry). There are a ton of people who share music tracks, sprites etc. and merely ask for tips (like Jason Shaw at audionautix.com). I'll be happy when I can easily express my gratitude with donations. Especially to Jason and others like him.

  • I like it, but just out of curiosity why don't you just post the capx here?

  • Cool game, I like the art.

  • I like your game, and I like your idea is good about the glowing cup.

I don't think I could follow without you little glowing hints.

  • I'll be getting mine as soon as paypal says I can. Should be within 3 days.

  • This happened to me too. I worked for weeks on the contest project. Had it pretty snazzy. Then suddenly the project would no longer open. Actually it opened, displayed the layout and other tabs. Yet the the pages were blank. I only had two days to re-do my contest entry. I was wondering if I hit a maximum of events and it locked up or something.

  • Thanks again Nimtrix. I learned about dragging the images from a folder, probably from one of the tutes a while back. I'm just not sure if there was a reason that others would go to all the trouble of doing the other way, unless it had some sort of benefit.

  • Hi all,

I noticed in a few of the competition tutorials, that the authors were adding a bunch of sprites by clicking on the layout, then having to take the time out to rename them all. I found that when I drag an image directly on to the layout view from a folder on my computer, that it automatically names the sprite the name given in the folder. This saves a lot of time, but I do not know if there is a downside to doing it that way. Is it ok to just drag and drop sprites in?

  • When I said I had sympathy for students etc. That meant you. You are the "etc." I was referring to. I was not referring to you at all, as a matter of fact, nor anyone in an impoverished country or situation. I'm mostly referring to the narcissists that live here in the U.S. I would be way more than willing to participate in some type of a effort to get this program into the hands of people who are motivated and deserve it, yet struggle everyday to make ends meet and put food on their plate. Perhaps Ash and Tom could do some sort of exchange for good tutes etc. I'll buy someone a license if they can help me with math expressions etc. I know what they are basically, but how to implement them, well that's another story.
