  • This list is really incredibly usefull, I use it all the time!

ps. Physics objects go swimming is dead.

  • Bleeh.. luckily i didn't spend more then a few hours on it so far. I had noticed the terms weren't interchangeable, but i thought at least it was different branches of the same thing. Well, back to searching the web.

  • For people who are serious with learning java from scratch: http://see.stanford.edu/see/lecturelist ... 6adcae1111

It's a webcasted programming course using java, complete with 28 lectures, pdf-handouts, required software and assignments including templates. By far the best way I've found to get into it, and good for the lazy people as you dont have to read that much, mostly look at a video (and program of course)

Here's a list of more computer science courses on different levels for those who are interested. http://www.programmerfish.com/45-free-o ... e-courses/

    cheers

  • SLOW DOWN PLEASE

Don't listen to him! KEEP GOING I LOVE IT!

  • Yeah, html5 does have it's upsides as well i guess.

Someone wise said somewhere that the custom movement plugin would be good, and i agree. Then there's no hurry with the other ones.

  • Other: An .exe exporter is pretty vital i think. Many people seem to dislike the HTML5 exporter.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Love the new expression thing! Great work!!!

  • Can't vote because of my skin colour, but i vote yes. Nothing bad could come from you working full time on construct.

  • I think most people have been aware of the situation with C1 for quite a while now. That it could still be improved, but never finnished because of the knots and roadblocks in the early code. This is the best thing that could happen to construct right now. We have C1 in a fairly good state, so we can work on our projects and ideas, and in the meantime we explore and get to know the new features of C2, and help the development so it goes smoothly, and when the time is right to swich completely we'll allready know everything about it.

  • Woah!! That's just brilliant!

  • [quote:sd9x7jjw]The conditional a ? b : c operator was a bit buggy in 0.x - it should be working correctly in C2. Example: Sprite.X < 100 ? -1 : 1

Could someone explain this a bit further? I've never used any of that before.

  • YES!

With the low activity on the forums from you Devs, i was thinking:

    1. You've got caught up in other stuff, and grown tired of Construct.

    2. You're secretly working your asses of on C2. <--Correct!

I was starting to get worried. Thanks for not letting me down! I'm going to follow the development of C2 closely, and I'll try to help out as much as i can!

  • It's missing on purpose, for now there's no examples using any plugins in the list.

Wouldn't that make a nice sub-category? Many great tutorials include plugins.

  • I really worked my way through all the clich passwords when i was younger. I've had "asdfghjk", "xxxxxx" and "password".

  • This is a great old exmple too, so i don't mind it being revived.
