  This has been a bit of a problem I've noticed about the net occasionally. In the discussions about game creation tools, when construct users try to tell people construct is better it sometimes bothers people. Sometimes the users of the other programs end up feeling insulted, like we're elitist and 'bashing' on the programs they currently use and love, even when only discussing facts and refraining from insults. It too often seems to upset someone and judging from some responses on other forums, sounds like can sometimes drive people away. So let's please remain respectful of others, their communities and programs.

  Perhaps if we used alternative phrasing, such as instead of "construct is better than other program because," perhaps leaving the other program out of it and using "construct is great because" would work better?

  Lucid: a few people have mentioned having this bug before, and the common thread between them is every time someone has mentioned this problem recently they also mention having a GTX series card.

  That's construct classic that's open source. It's still in development through the community, a new version was released a few days ago.

  With C2 you can hold ctrl and use the mousewheel to zoom in and out of the event sheet.

  Sorry, no to both of those. You can toggle multiple selected events at once, though.

  You could simplify that by using sprite -> pick by comparison -> distance(.x, .y, Sprite2.x, Sprite2.y) is less than however many pixels. You could also use a pick closest condition with that to make sure you get the closest one.

  They just renamed construct 0.x to construct classic to differentiate them better.

  Having played with the orthogonal projection, I didn't realize how much I wanted the feature. Great update!

  The indiegamer forums, while they have a wealth of information, aren't actually suited for tutorials. They're more for professionals who are already selling games. I read that forum frequently and don't recall any tutorials for learning how to use programs there.
