  • You have much more work to do on your own before you start a studio Even with the knowledge and understanding you will get no where without recognition. People look for a more established plan also. I recommend starting something non profit and collaberating with a few people before you do your own thing. At least to get your name out there.

  • Slicksz here you go man. Fixed the stars for you. You had the star destroyed on layout start which there was no need for. All that needed to be done for the stars is a wrap behavior.

  • Thanks, Apox! I'm going to update that 1st tileset with about 7 more tiles as a free update tonight. I thought of a few more tiles to add, like a ladder and maybe a button or switch in two states (up and down / on and off), perhaps a crate or other obstacle / breakable. I'm looking for any suggestions and I'll be happy to try and include them in this update.

How much are you expecting to make and how many hours are you expecting to be put toward the team? Also how serious are you about this? I would like you to fix your provided links so I can see what you have done.

  • I can tell you what you can do if that helps Slicksz . Create a new sprite, size it to whatever you like. Place it to the right of the layout. Set the behavior to bullet. Correct the speed and direction of the bullet. Create the event for the bullet, on bullet collide with player either destroy player and or restart layout. Whichever you prefer. Also create the event for the bullet to respawn at a random position or however you would like to create that.

    Now for the starfield just create some particles and tweak the settings to whatever you are aiming for. Also you may want to use more than one particle object for this.
