  • One alternative is to use a launcher that forces the resolution you want and then resets it to the users regular resolution when the game is closed. I know MadSpy experimented with a launcher and I tried it and it worked great. But I don't know if he still is working on it or not?

  • Easiest way is to just set the games time scale like this:

on touched ship > system - set time scale

And there you can set it to the slowmotion you want.

    For example 0 = freeze time, 0.5 = 50% speed, 1 = normal speed and 2 = double the speed etc.

You can also use set object time scale if you only want to slow down specific objects.

  • Just realized it was instances of the same sprite so you can make a loop like this:

It doens't have to be "for each (ordered)" you can use the regular "for each" loop instead.

  • You can for example make a variable named "Total Weight" and set it to: sprite1.weight+sprite2.weight+sprite3.weight

The "total weight" variable will then store the total values of the sprites instance values added up

Yeah, there's no touch during gameplay, only need tilt.

I am using cranberrygame plugin. It only has acquire an release. Not working.

I see, but try adding the browser plugin as well and try the focus action. No need changing anything else just use it for the focus action.

Never had that problem before as my mobile games always require touch inputs but I guess you are using gyro or something as controls?

  • Try Construct 3

  • C2 games already run great on Xbox One. I ran a few already for testing. The only holdup is Xbox Live.

I have talked with Microsoft multiple times now regarding this and they said that even with xbox live features C2 games will not be allowed to be published on xbox one. This is due to some secret security issues they can't talk about. Anyway this is the final email from my contact at Microsoft.

[quote:e7yq92ro]We have security teams dedicated to ensuring compatibility and safety across approved middleware partners, and there is at this point no workaround for Xbox One as it relates it Construct 2 not even with xbox live features; I have checked this with our teams multiple times and unfortunately there is no path forward with Construct 2 on Xbox One right now.

I don't know what these issues are but it would be interesting to know.

Fantastic! Is there a download link for the updated plugin?

  • X3M Nice tool. I played a bit with it and it seems like the "on release triggers" are broken and a returns a javascript error. Just wanted to let you know

  • I draw a lot better on paper than on my tablet so I draw on paper until I have what I want then I trace the shape with the tablet to get the look I want. If I try to just draw with the tablet from the beginning it never ends well

  • I have done that. Usually I draw what I want on the paper and then take a picture of if with my phone and use it as a guideline when making it digital. But you could just scan in whole drawings and use it if you want to have a unique style

I understand. Usually the plugin works with the latest version of nw that has proven to work well with steam. So if some new versions have some bugs that version might be skipped. But I wouldn't worry too much about it atm. If you have the plugin you'll at least be able to provide the most important steam features without any problems and MadSpy also provides fantastic support as well. And I totally understand that people would like to have a working steam plugin in C2 that comes with the software but until then I'm so glad to have an alternative that works great

Thank you for that, your games looks great and very affordable as well

I would love to see this experimental plugin becoming an native plugin, because it's pretty much essential. Having to buy expensive third party plugins that uses old nw.js and old Steam SDK versions is kind of disappointing. Please, don't make us wait for Construct 3 to have this feature implemented natively, we know that Construct 3 is not coming that soon.

The Steam4C2 plugin is always compatable with the latest stable version of NW that has proven to work well with steam. So saying that it needs old nw.js versions is wrong. A new nw is on the way that will solve many problems that we have had earlier and you'll see that Steam4c2 will be updated to work with that one as well. And the steam sdk will be updated if there is any important changes added which almost never happens so it really doesn't matter at all.

So if you have a game ready for steam then just pay for the plugin and you'll have steam achievements and stats in no time. You'll have the money back in sales the first day of release anyway.

Best of luck with your project

  • Just go to and search for voice actors. You can get really good ones for less than $20 and most of them have previous work you can listen to.

  • Congratulations for being greenlit. I guessed it would take three weeks but you managed to do it in under two. Good job!
