  • Hi guys,

Even though Internet Explorer 8 does not support HTML5 elements or Canvas natively, there seem to be a few API's that will make C2 games run on IE8 and earlier browsers:

Has anyone tried using these to get their games working on IE8?

Even though not much is expected on performance, will these work on very simple games?

I will start to test these, but if anyone has tried them it would be of great help!

  • The plug-in Sounds great, but can you check the download links for the samples, they seem to be broken...

  • Good call. Thank you for posting the article!

  • Hi Tom, this is Camilo. I sent you an email, i believe i can be of great help here...

  • Congragulations!...

  • I concur with HenMex, BB is taking very good care of its developers and they have an excellent team running the various events...

  • Just wanted to give a shootout to WaterlooErik for the amazing support during this past weekend's Blackberry 10 appPort-A-Thon. Not only does BB have amazing support and resources for their devs but also an amazing team in the Html5 Webworks dept.

I would encourage all C2 users to give Webworks a try as it works really well with Construct. I will be revealing details about my game closer to the Blackberry 10 launch. The game renders excellent in the new BB10 alpha devices and playbook all just within the browser...

  • Thanks, awesome work...

  • Hi guys, i believe someone in this section had posted a great looking sprite pack featuring a rotating gold coin along with various jewel icons. If anybody can point me to these it will be of great help, thank you in advanced...

  • Hi Ryan, i could be wrong, but i believe you had an Sprite pack featuring a rotating gold coin and Jewel icons in an earlier version of the site. If possible can you point me to these, thanks...

  • Hi Brian, i found your project soundplay Youtube Channel, great work. BTW, the link to your .CAPX is broken, do you mind updating or direct me to the file. Awesome work...

  • Great work Eyehawk. Btw, how long was the approval process in days for this game?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Awesome and Congragulations!...

  • No prob. Well be glad when its here...

  • I agree sqiddester, i posted about this same request many builds ago. This is a standard feature in many image editing programs similar to photoshop or illustrator.

There has been a multitude of occasions which i had to rotate, scale individual objects just to re-position them within the layout when they could have been easily edited (Scaled, Rotated)in a few seconds with a single click. The current set-up is time consuming and non-productive. If we can select objects as individual groups and have the ability to scale and rotate them as a single unified object we will make this a better editor and be more productive at the same time.
