    I got last question! I must use one of this programing languages? That scary me... I want use only construct events etc.

    it's not necessary to learn any language for using construct but still, if you want to use some advanced features(i'm sure you wouldn't want to do it right now ) you can use python.

  • i agree with mipey, start small, make simple shooters and other games(no need to be original, if you play any game try to copy it, at least the basic concept of the game).

  • Just released my first game on GameJolt.com

    Description:

    Cell.Protect is a basic top down shooter game inspired from Arc Aether Anomalies.

    Your aim is to shoot the spores protect your cell, collect proteins which are generated after you kill an spore to increase the health.

    Controls:

    W,A,S,D - Movement

    Left Mouse Button - Shoot

    Notes:

    1.If you have an old computer go to options and disable all the special effects to get a nice framerate. Some options are disabled by default.

    2.[BUG]:If you die in the game and go back to the main menu after the score screen and click on play button again to play the game, for some reason the timer and generation of spores is started late(after 10-20 secs).So it will be better that you exit the game before playing again.

    (PS: I'm trying to fix that bug

  • Just a simple pixel painting program made in Construct, similar to Jdraw http://sourceforge.net/projects/jdraw/

    it's actually more dumber than MS paint

    use LMB to paint, 'C' to select colour and 'E' to erase. Pressing E erases the whole thing since canvas object cannot erase a part of it and just erases everything.

    'S' to save the png file in 46*46 size.

  • it's kind of impossible to make a totally free MMO since they need to pay for the servers etc. and asking for something totally free from a big company like EA is illogical

  • yes i know about the level 10 limit but you can still continue to race but your level will be restricted to 10. It's not exactly free free, but still free to play

    they are nice,i liked the menu soundtrack more. I think i'll use the menu music in the game and some "pulse" sound loop for the menu.

    the only thing i am stuck at right now is the music, could somebody suggest a good soundtrack for it??

    i tried digging newgrounds audio portal but couldn't find anything.

    maybe i'll try GIMP later but i've started using paint.net and MS paint for pixel art and flash for vector art(inkscape runs very slow on my computer)

    I am no better at playing the game with WASD, but since it's most common I used it. I think i should add customizable controls.
