My Rep was cut down.

I was editing my profile and I saw this button "recap you rep" and pressed just for curiosity and my rep was cut down from 879 to 570.

What happened?

Happened to me also when we first moved across to this forum :)

But as Tom has pointed out on numerous threads, the rep system is still a 'work in progress'. No real biggy, surely.

It's like street cred :P

All my hard work, vanished by a tiny button :)

It doesn't matter that much, it was just out of curiosity.

We had some badges that we removed which would have caused drops. Also there's a few gaps in the system where it doesn't give/take away rep as it should. It's still a work in progress system.

Don't worry about pushing that button, I push the button for everyone every now and then so it would have happened anyway!

For what it's worth, your rep looks about right at the moment :)
