It is not out yet but, Ripple Dot Zero is the flash game. It got a Sonic The Hedgehog, feel to it.

The parallax and artwork in the game are amazing. It feels like a cross between megaman and sonic. Although there doesn't seem to be a direct story yet, the gameplay itself is actually quite fun.
