  • Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum, but not Construct 2. It's a useful program and I've set out to create a useful package of graphics called the "Indie Graphics Builder"

It provides over 5000+ images that you can easily use to create your own unique sprites. I'm currently funding it through Kickstarter at this link.    This picture gives a look at different spaceships that were built in the pack: Official Page & Video

I need help in funding my project and am only asking the bare minimum required to be only slightly in dept after the project. I hope you like it and check out the video.

  • Here is a graphic update. Official Homepage: http://www.roencia.com/indiegraphicsbuilder.html Some samples:

Even the spaceships are in different parts so you can build your own designs.

  • Looks quite interesting, and congratulations on reaching your funding.

It's great to see things like this and Spriter coming out; alongside Construct 2 making games has never been easier.

  • I downloaded Spriter and when I opened it, I asked myself "How many people who purchase this program, will actually be able to use it?" It's great for animation, but you have to make sprites before you can use the program.

So now the process is complete:

    1) Graphics Builder (create sprites)

    2) Spriter (animate sprites)

    3) Construct 2 (make the game)

  • Really interesting when I finish my traslade to my new home

I like to buy. You have a limit in the new graphics releases?

  • Been waiting a long time for something like this, do you have a rough release date for this?

  • Hi Gilden, your sprite pack looks awesome! I was too late to back it in kickstarter, but I've preordered a pack - can't wait to get it! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • this looks likes its going to be a great collection, especially useful for those that wanna make games but are not that knowledgeable in the graphics department.

  • Looks good - missing a FX-Builder...for something like Bombs, Splashes, Explosions...etc...

  • Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies. I have more details and the official webpage is:

    http://www.roencia.com/indiegraphicsbuilder.html

This is not a trick, we have a treat for you. Indie Graphics Builder will be releasing on Halloween Oct. 31st. There will be 5,500 graphics on release, and for every pack we didn't get to you on that date, it will be delivered as completed.

That means the graphics count might reach up to 7,000. We found after completing the space assets which had 1,000 graphics of it's own, that we would get over the 5,500 goal before we finished every genre. This is good news for everyone. Price point remains at $79 for pre-orders.

  • Gilden, impressive pack of graphics to be sure and it looks like from your post above the last day to pre-order at $79 is October 30, 2012 the day before the Halloween release date so I will keep this date in mind if it is in the graphics budget, thanks.

  • Just preordered this today. Can't wait until the 31st

  • Cool, I preordered a few weeks ago - cant wait! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • You may find the price set too high, lets say 20 people come across your site, if they are interested and see this at $20 they will probably drop the money instantly. At $200 dollars you are raisin the barrier of entry. Of those left, they may search for alternatives or delay their purchase or forget it entirely. Just my 2 cents.

  • If someone were to go to a freelance artist and order this many images it would run them a few thousand dollars. 200$ for 5500+ images is a steal.
