  • Hi guys, looks like this is going to be a close one. In a way, I can't wait tell it's over so I can get back to making graphics. Of course a few things will be alot easier if the kickstarter succeeds. Thank you to those that believe in the project and in me.

Edit: I just checked out InDee Toons, and I see great potential in that as well. You must have spent alot of time designing those characters.

  • We have 4 artists working on this one. Last time just me and a relative doing everything and I always felt rushed. This time we are working longer on specific styles so assets will work better together. Expect alot of pixel art. I like the fact we can take our time and release updates on steam. Before, I had to email everyone the updates, it was a pain.

There have been several people that have emailed me and said they sold there games with the assets, so I was happy to see it worked for some people first time around.

Here is a sample of the animated icon pack I'm making:

Remember, just a sample. There are alot more pieces then that =D You can see how I'm making things in pieces as much as possible with the bottle, candle, and chest.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Yes, the $89 bundle is for IGB 1 as well and a Steam key to download everything. I'm setting up the Steam page during and after the kickstarter (it's surprisingly complicated for me), so hopefully soon you'll be able to download everything.

  • I was one of the backers for the original pack, and I can vouch for this guy. Most of the assets he produced were great, and I have no doubts the new content will be good as well. I'd definitely jump in before the $89 tier runs out.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm happy to say there are 4 of us making art now, and because of this and Steam, I'm hoping things won't be so rushed. This was the case last time, and some of the assets could have been a little better.

  • I do remember seeing this way back when. I think this would come in handy for some of my projects.

I was clicking around the site and didn't see a price anywhere for the whole pack. Wasn't is like $200 post early adoption?

It's fluctuated because of sales from $80 to $200. With Steam support that also allowed me to bring the price in general for it way down. Because some people help supported the project before, I put a special limited tier on the kickstarter at the cheapest price I could muster ($90 for around 20,000 - 30,000 graphics depending on kickstarter funding)

The IGB was taken off my main site awhile ago cause I didn't want people to buy it then realize there is a great discount now on the Kickstarter. That's the only place you can find it.

  • If you remember back in the day, I aimed to create the best graphics creation kit ever for users of Construct 2. It's entering it's final stage. So I don't have post a link, Just hit Kickstarter and search Indie Graphics Builder 2. It will pop right up.

Here are the coolest things about IGB Phase 2:

    1) An animated character creation kit - The most requested item I got

    2) Steam support - So you can download all your graphics from IGB phase 1 & 2 (they invited me!) That's crazy, because this is the first non-game, non-software item on steam to my knowledge. This will allow for faster updates and delivery.

    * Steam not your thing, there will be a site you log in to download everything. It would be best to watch the video from the link, but here are two screenshots to quench your eyes.

(many possibilities from the many pieces)

(1 spaceship made from over 3000 pieces)

  • Over 2700 posts in this thread...wow!

My name is Eldon. Little thing about me, I make graphics for games. I wanted to say how excited I am to say that my life would be completely useless without game engines like Construct 2. I have this project I'll tell you about in a few days. With Construct 2 and my project, you can take over the world one piece at a time by making awesome games. Stay tuned.

  • Uh, "pledge $75 or more on kickstarter" to get access to this is not "free". Funny how you have to go to your site to find that out.

You've never heard of buy one, get one free. Or perhaps, "Hey if anyone donates $50 to charity, they get a free shirt." It's right in a way to say that "Nothing is ever truly free" but you can't say this is not a great deal since I didn't have to give you the graphics when you pledge at the $75 tier.

  • What's this about?

To all 2D lovers out there...To help get support for my Zombie/Alien game "Stop the Planet! I want to get off", I would like to offer you the Indie Graphics Builder for free (normally $200). Use it in the Construct 2 engine and sell your games with them cause the graphics are royalty-free. Click the link below for details on how to claim the offer. EDIT - You must at least donate on the $75 tier, which also gets you prizes from the actual kickstarter including the game.

  • I am making an animated pixel character pack (change out hair, eyes, clothes, etc..., but it's taking a very long time and it's not promised for the IGB so I might sell it separately in my online store.

I'm trying to get together another update by Dec. 1st to include more content, and hopefully add 500 more images.

For those not interested in the whole package, I will be selling individual packs of what is in the IGB in my online store. $200 will be cheaper than if you were to buy all the content on the site separately. So getting the IGB is like getting a better discount.

The graphics count is above 7,000 and by December it will be close to 8,000 lol

  • Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies. I have more details and the official webpage is:

    http://www.roencia.com/indiegraphicsbuilder.html

This is not a trick, we have a treat for you. Indie Graphics Builder will be releasing on Halloween Oct. 31st. There will be 5,500 graphics on release, and for every pack we didn't get to you on that date, it will be delivered as completed.

That means the graphics count might reach up to 7,000. We found after completing the space assets which had 1,000 graphics of it's own, that we would get over the 5,500 goal before we finished every genre. This is good news for everyone. Price point remains at $79 for pre-orders.

  • I downloaded Spriter and when I opened it, I asked myself "How many people who purchase this program, will actually be able to use it?" It's great for animation, but you have to make sprites before you can use the program.

So now the process is complete:

    1) Graphics Builder (create sprites)

    2) Spriter (animate sprites)

    3) Construct 2 (make the game)

  • Here is a graphic update. Official Homepage: http://www.roencia.com/indiegraphicsbuilder.html Some samples:

    <img src="http://www.roencia.com/minisam4.jpg" border="0">

Even the spaceships are in different parts so you can build your own designs.

  • Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum, but not Construct 2. It's a useful program and I've set out to create a useful package of graphics called the "Indie Graphics Builder"

It provides over 5000+ images that you can easily use to create your own unique sprites. I'm currently funding it through Kickstarter at this link.    This picture gives a look at different spaceships that were built in the pack: Official Page & Video

    <img src="http://www.roencia.com/sample9mini.jpg" border="0">

I need help in funding my project and am only asking the bare minimum required to be only slightly in dept after the project. I hope you like it and check out the video.

  • I'd like to see some construct 2 games on the appStore. I've noticed alot of developers are adopting the free to play model. Even Crytek, once they market their current games, are going completely free-2-play.
