Smilie Creator PX

Proof-of-concept smilie creator application, using drag and drop, very early version just showing that it is alive and i am making it heh.

In future it will hopefully enable you to load your own eyes, mouths, bases etc.

cool. it could use alot more content though. maybe animated features too?

As i said before it's just a proof of concept to show you that i am working on something

And animated features would be a lot of work, i'm not sure if i can even export an animated image in construct.

That's pretty cool, but one thing which would make it alot easier was if you made it bounding box collisions and not pixel perfect; it's hard to click the small things .

I know what you mean in the sense it's hard to pick up stuff, but i don't get what you meant by what i quoted heh, i'm still new you see

I actually originally made "Smilie Creator" in MMF1.5 if any of you ever saw it before? So i am just re-doing it a the better creation software

In the Sprite properties, change collisions mode to 'bounding box' .

sometimes I find its easier to make an object thats 4x4, give it mouse movement, and rather than detecting if i've clicked on an object, I detect if the left mouse clicks and if the object is overlapping the desired object. I'll try this out when I get home

So you mean you have an invisible square which is always attached to the object but it is bigger than the object?

That actually sounds like a good idea, but to be honest using the box collision now, it works like a beaut for SC!

zoom in/out would be nice...

Well as far as i can see there is no zoom object yet

Tried it, you can no longer use the drag and drop properly when zoomed.

what do you mean "properly" ?

Well you basically can't use it.

Only using box collisions not per-pixel and also has another smilie base heh, but it is zoomed 105%.

You can also see the canvas got smaller...bug?!
