Jump between planes

I made this thing

Jump and while still going up, push up or down to go to the background (blurred) or foreground plane.

I didn't add parallax because it wouldn't be right with constant player speed, but with more work it could be done and it would look great.

Also: is there a way to change layer effects parameters? changing focus to the current layer would rock, but I can't figure how to access the effect to set the values.

thx, I had some in my head but I can't spare the time to do any games these days. Thought I'd share and let others at it

oh and there's probably a better way to set/unset collision for a whole layer, but I couldn't think of any.

is this the fast blur youre always talking about?

if so, is it variable so you can adjust the bluriness level on the fly ?

yup that's the motion blur, two perpendicular passes.
