shadows appear on the layer the light is in. You can put the 3D box on a layer on top of the one containing the light and it'll have the box on top of the light.

I just want shadows under the box, but not the light.. I know the layer thing, but I need the box on the same layer as the lights.

Devs can you fix that shadow thing?

You could just use your own sprite for the light object and layer it how you want.

I have layer effects enabled so I need all things to stay on one layer..
