Isometric dragon shooter

Well, I was doing this game, but I don't know if I'll take it forward, cause a heavy amount of objects that are aways created, did the game lagger sometimes.

I got a graphics card that's blacklisted by Firefox but I am getting between 20, and 25 FPS on Firefox with canvas2d which is about the same you would get on a mobile device.

Canvas2d:

And in Google Chrome with webgl I'm getting between 55, and 60 FPS.

I'm not getting any noticeable lag just a 5 FPS fluctuation.

Runs fine for me, was getting 60fps in firefox when I was in powersaver using my integrated card, so should be ok =)

Looks nice btw, I'd like to see where you're going with this.

Since the rendering is less taxing that the amount of objects, at least from what I understand from other discussions regarding performance, would larger tiles help ? Say by making the tiles twice as large, and half as many could help, you could also make bigger tiles for 'background' elements, for the blue areas.

That effect is really nice, i wasnt getting much lag.

I had lag on Firefox not Chrome

60 fps on chrome

60 fps on Chrome all the way!!

With IE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari all running at the same time, still only Safari dropped below mid 30's to mid 20's. IE and Chrome steady in 60's. Firefox was most erratic, sometimes swinging between 1 and 90 before I launched Safari then settling in mid 30/40 range.

thank u guys, I'll try to do it the way that JohnnySix said, increasing the tile to decrease the number of block created
