  • From what I played at your link I definitely like it. If I could offer a bit of advice on your UI when the game loads. It feels a tiny bit cluttered to me, having so much information hitting me all at once is just a little bit of a turn off. I would love to see that stuff introduced gradually so I don't feel overwhelmed at the start.

Aside from that great job, love the art and it's very fun to play.

  • Thanks UnknownPwny Sheepy It is very gratifying to know that other people liked our work.

Waywardchicken we realized this mistake also. In the current version, the tutorials still appear before each stage, but on a side layout, and can be viewed via the main menu.

The game is still being developed. And we are very eager to show the new version. But the game still needs some tweaking so that everyone can play without bugs. While we do not post a link to the test, here are some in game screenshots of the tutorials and the early stages.

Looks fantastic! Excited to see how this moves along.

  • Beautiful game so far, I am definitely loving it. I have the rough planning for a TD game for a future project. Currently working on 2 platformers right now though. Then I decide on if I want to do my TD or my RPG next.

  • On a side note, how are you handling the pathing for the enemies?

  • Thanks BluePhaze! My brother and I love this game too =]

The path system was the first engine built to the game. How you can see (by the post date) we do not use the pathfinding behavior. The enemies only follows waypoints along the map. Those waypoints are positioned manualy on the map layout.

  • Nice work! Mist have been a pain. So are you having them move toward the next closest waypoint, or setting a variable that tells them what the next waypoint is?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • The second option. Each waypoint has a id, when the monster reaches the waypoint 2 he moves toward to waypoint 3

  • Hello Monchild

I would like to take some doubts your project. I'm wanting to make a td tbm.

How you did the attack time of the characters?

You are using pathfinder or waypoints? The movement of the enemy is well fluid as it could?

THE characters melee attack, you're using the behavior Turrent or made ??another method?

    congratulations on the job.

    Thank you for your attention.

  • Hey not bad. Funny, the red number "8" that shows when an arrow hits an enemy looks like I threw a kiss. ;)

  • Monchild

    really love your game;

like how the game starts;the start up menu etc

and the characters are so cute too

  • Nice game, I really like the graphics and the improvements you're making. I found your game when I was looking for TD games made with Construct 2. It was inspiring.
