  • Freedom Fall on Greenlight!

Hi guys, a couple of years ago, I started my second major Construct project, a platformer called Freedom Fall. I'm a digital artist by trade, but I'd always wanted a chance to design my own games, so I had an amazing time building up the first half of the game!

Back then, the game looked like this:

Unfortunately, I hit the limitations of Construct Classic, and with no way to convert the project to C2, I was lost as to what to do. I brought my demo to a game pitching event, and had the great fortune to get noticed by a local development team!

Together with Stirfire Studios, we re-built the game from scratch in Moai, with lua scripting, resulting in a much more robust and efficiently programmed game! I'm incredibly grateful to Construct - as a prototyping tool, Construct was amazing! (I still use C2 for roughing out game ideas, and recently used it as part of the Global Game Jam.)

Now, the game looks more like this:

After much hard work, we're finally ready to release the game, and for this, we need your help. If you like what you see, then please vote for us on Steam Greenlight, or let your friends know!

  • Really nice graphics and interesting! I want to publish on greenlight too but i don?t know if construct 2 games work for steam...

  • Looking really good! You got my vote (and plenty of others too it seems)!

  • The best part of every single game are the graphics. Kudos!

  • Lisarr

amazing graphics, the game looks really good.. best of luck

  • Thanks!

Yeah, I don't think there's any option to export for Steam games. With Construct 2 purchasable on Steam, you never know, it might happen one day.
