  • Progress:

    [attachment=0:3sxhvu1l][/attachment:3sxhvu1l]

  • Working on this platformer game.

  • I am building a stuff builder for rapid development of assets, it looks like this in its current state:

It's mostly keyboard driven with one hand on WASD for movement and other on cursor keys for scaling. You adjust a grid and just spawn items to combine. Still needs some work.

  • Somebody let me try out his "stuff generator" as shown in the post above. I was able to come up with this after 15-20 minutes of playing around using only a few of the available shapes. Needless to say, it has a ton of potential!

Build rooms for point and click games...

    Vehicles...

Creatures, cutsceens etc. It's kinda crazy how much different stuff you can make with such few shapes.

    Title screens, icons etc.

    Non-descript sci-fi sabers anyone?

A simple robot based on the picture on my 1 year olds pajamas.

I made this using only circles.

Simple image using only 3 shapes. I made this in 2 minutes. I should have added a background though because it's really hard to see the smoke.

Edit: I wanted to note that everything above was made with an old version of Somebodys stuff generator. He's been working on improving it a great deal and I'm sure if I had access to the newer version these objects would be even better.

  • I'm currently working on a retro Gameboy-ish graphics platformer. I'll post more as I go!

Nice consistent art style. I like that you added shrubs and trees on the sides of walls and such, really sets it in your mind that this is another dimension.

Really like the simple combat style. I can really see that taking off with enough content to keep players hooked..

  • It's always a treat to come to this thread and see everyone's work!

I'm working on some story and ambience stuff for Dungeon Buster at the moment:

  • I really enjoy this art style.

I'm working on some story and ambience stuff for Dungeon Buster at the moment:

Nice to see, a mega game Wrangler and with an amazing visual!

  • Looks great! Chinese Pixel soldiers.

  • gillenew thanks friend! Your stuff is looking great as always, I especially like the minimap you've created!

  • Thanks to Rojo I have managed to improve some export facilities and meanwhile improved many other things (more parts, save states, etc) according to plan. Now you can really build some assets with this:

Export a clean png image, resize as needed and it's good to go in a game:

And while my main focus has been technical stuff Burvey neatly shows that you can do way more with it.

  • small project im doing on my spare time during Christmas break...
