How do I

I would like to make an app for my nephews. It would a drag and drop type game, where they would drag the apple to the apple spot. Can someone share some possible starting point.

After doing a few tutorials this should be pretty easy. Do a search for drag and drop.

I did. Found how to drag stuff around and seems to work well, but now I'm wanting to move ..say just the apple to the apple spot and if this is right, then have it snap to the spot. Not a programmer, so pls excuse the possible lame questions. Any help is appreciated. Still looking around. thx

See if this helps you get started.

So apple2 is draggable and apple is the target.

If when you stop dragging apple2, if it is touching apple, apple2 will snap to apple's origin.

If apple2 isn't touching apple when it is dropped apple2 goes back to its original position.
