Orbiting question. and helix spiral

Not sure how to word this, so I'll leave this picture. Basically I'm trying to do this:

This what I got. The ball just shoots off in a direction and doesn't seem to orbit around it's spawn point.

Trying to do something like this for a helix spiral as well.

Whats wrong with just using the Sign behavior?

It works, but still need a constant sine/cos wave movement that won't ping pong. Still tring to figure out that issue with the orbiting rotation.

Just had a thought.

How about doing it in Spriter?

I just figured it out lol. Also, Spriter?

Ok, maybe not. It might look pretty, but it would be hard to make it interactive.
