Make a layout only happen one time

This is probably very easy but I don't know how to do it. I want to make a layout that only comes up if it is your first time playing on an app. Once you are done with the welcome layout, it will go to the title screen. If it is not your first time, it will just go to title screen. How do you code this? Thank you

Webstorage - save some stuff after playing first time. Then compare if this is true - ignore welcome layout, if it's false then show welcome layout.

Does webstorage work for mobile devices? The game isn't on the web it is in an app on the phone/tablet. Thank you for the reply.
