Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • It's fairly easy to re-create, if you add a text object and then set the text as "\s \\\\" when you run the layout it only shows as "s \\" and removes extra \ characters.

  • Thanks, fixed that in the next build. (We'll get something better for tracking bugs up soon)

  • Hi all you guys!

    Im new with Construct.

Ive been playing for few days with Construct 0.99 and I have to say that I love it.

Now, im seeing the C2 issue and some questions are floating around my head.

Do you have an estimated date of when C2 will be usable and ready for develop ?

I suppose that it's difficult to give a date, but, months? years... ?

Its actually a bad idea to start a large project whith Construct 0.x ?

  • Thank you.

I tried construct 0.xx and I liked it, but it only allowed me to make windows executables. I wanted to make html5 games and tried a couple of libraries out there that was too difficult for me at this point. You solved my problem.

  • I want to donate to show support for the project (I've probably given $100 to NetGore, for example, and it's still in alpha), but I'll hold off for now as it appears based on the FAQ there's a possibility you'll just end up turning closed-source when development finishes anyway.

Once closed-source is off the table, I'll happily donate.

  • Im very happy with that decision, I think it was the right choice and i'm looking forward for Construct 2! I loved the first one and to be honest you guys deserve a lot of money from this development!

  • Not sure where to post this so im posting it here but defenetly have look at it

  • hi everybody, i just downloaded and had some fun with this construct 2 alpha and i'm very excited of its potential. just a couple of questions:

1 - is it normal that in the sprites, transparecy isn't supported?

2 - when do you think to release the "full version"?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • 1 - is it normal that in the sprites, transparecy isn't supported?

Full alpha transparency is supported - it's just we haven't got an internal image editor yet, so we launch the system image editor. By default this is Paint, which doesn't have transparency support. Install Paint.NET and you can use alpha.

[quote:1u97i0ld]2 - when do you think to release the "full version"?

    No idea I'm afraid!
