..is there a way to replace also the 'construct classic' image editor?

because that is kinda buggy too

  • hi everybody, i just downloaded and had some fun with this construct 2 alpha and i'm very excited of its potential. just a couple of questions:

1 - is it normal that in the sprites, transparecy isn't supported?

2 - when do you think to release the "full version"?

  • who said it was for me?

i was just saying that if someone wanted to do that, it was possible

  • Ehy guys i took a look at the 3D Wolfeinstein-like game demo in the plugins forum, and that gave me an idea.

i'm not very good with construct but i tought it could have been used in an other way. i put the sprite of a human taken from behind in place of the gun and i moved it to the center of the screen (or a bit less), then i made the animation for when it's walking (very poorly, it was just a try) and i resized the invisible sprite which the player movesso that it collide a bit more far with the walls (so that the sprite, always seen in third person, cannot pass trought walls).

Adding a mouse-controlled pointer, using better textures and being a real expert with construct, i think that an amazing third person shooter (like... metal arms for playstation 2, it's the only one i remeber now with that kind of camera) would be possible... so i opened this topic, hoping some of you guysmuch more expert than me take a look at this idea and try to realize it better than how i did.

i hope my english was comprensible, if not so, please ask ^^

  • Ehi guys i need a Texas hold 'em plug in, or any other famous card game, can someone help me?

  • As requested over there, here's a commented cap of "first steps with the CardGame object". (Actually the request was for a tutorial involving a simple game, but hey, we're all literate here, rgith?)

    well done

  • hi guys i have a couple of problems i hope you will help me

    1. in application properties, i set sampling -> 'Point'

testing the game, it have some problem with the animated sprite, i mean, some pixel, some whole

line of the sprite disappear! Where's the problem? in Direct-X?

    2. when i past a bmp image in the animator it blur it, and, what's very crazy, if i click on the different

frames of the animation, every time i select them they get a little more blurred...

i hope my english is comprensible. if not so, please report

    please help me

  • First of all, I'm italian, so forgive me for my bad english..

I'm creating a game with Construct and i have to say that this program is really amazing, a well-done job! But i got a little problem.

I made my characters in pixel art, saved as .bmp, imported into Construct. In the level layout, it shows me them perfectly. But when I try the game... it is all 'motion-blurred' XD, not only if i move the character (sometimes it happens only in this way, but still it happens). I deactivated the motion-blur in the application properties of course, what next do i have to do?

Thank you guys and if you can't undestand my english, ask for explanation ;P
