Screen size is 960 � 544.

It would be awesome if we could make games for PS vita, but I doubt they're going to make HTML5 work amazing on it.

HTML5test.com doesn't test performance at all, as far as I know. So a device could score higher but be too slow to use.

Does anyone have a PS Vita? Have they tried to test performance? This is my standard performance test now since it gives a pretty representative score: http://www.scirra.com/labs/sbperf/

I tried a simple C2 test on my vita a while ago and it was even more slow than on iPad/Android, in fact it was unplayable

Not sure if they've updated the browser since then tough

The Playstation Suite came out a while back which allows indie devs to create apps and games for the Vita marketplace. Maybe someone could make a C2 Exporter that would convert your project to PSV.

I just got a PS Vita today and haven't even unpacked it. I'll run some tests and get back to you. I also have a Nintendo 3DS. It would be really great to run HTML5 games on either or both of them!

In particular the 3DS is really picking up and having a lot of cool downloadable games!

Never said it was a C2 issue...

Just stating the result of my test. HTML5 performance is poor on the vita or at least it was 2 months ago

jn2002dk it was not a accusation, i just think HTML5 perfs on PS VITA will stay poor as you say before. As for iOS/Android the answer to this problem "can" come from specific product such as cocoonjs but if sony want to give a future to html5 on PS VITA they have to work better too.
So just to say that i think scirra team will never put time in specific PS VITA export features and i really don't wait for them to do so !

Yea, i agree with you

While mobiles will certainly get up to speed fast i doubt nintendo and sony are really focusing on HTML5 performance on their current handsets
