local hi-scores permanently in C2?

In the future Construct2 will be equipped with local scoreboard as is the case with The Games Factory?

It's possible through chrome HTML right now from what I understand. Gs must use something other then just HTML? The information is online of some had the time to figure it out and turn it into a plugin.

Hey Ashley. I was thinking, since I do use a registry cleaner as needed, that some of those type of programs clean out internet caches unless the user manually configures it so. Is there any solution for that other than instructing the player not to do so?

I'm talking from a tech point, not necessarily C2. Does HTML5/web-based apps even have functionality for disk storage, or is restricted by the OS?

yes web storage is NOW but i ask for that option in future. If someone dont know what i thinking, should be check in TheGamesFactory how they create a scoreboard (create a textobject and all scores from global variable goes to scoreboard automaticaly) Construct2 will be best engine from all right? So in my opinion this will be great step forward

Web storage is the thing to use, because HTML5 games are browser games. Creating any files on user's disk outside browser's scope is a no-no. Other method is to host files externally, on a server - and that is another can of worms.
