Javascript Game Engine ??

Hi everybody !

I love Construct 2, really.

But I have a client that asked me to create a website with a small game.

I'm afraid HTML5 is not compatible with all the computers yet...

So I was wondering if it exists a game engine like Construct2, but with simple Javascript...

Does that exist ?

According to StatCounter, there are only about 1 in 4 people who can't view HTML5 games (basically just IE6, 7 and 8). So you could use Construct 2 anyway and just put up a notice to upgrade their browser to the minority who it won't work for. I can't think of any alternatives off the top of my head, but they will be very slow on IE 8 and earlier anyway!

Tell them that you will have to have a message saying it might not work on older browsers, avoid saying the figure!!!

Chances are that if their browser doesn't support HTML5, it will still be too slow to run javascript game engines. Screw 'em, I say.
