iphone 4 performance tip

here is an optimizing trick for iphone 4, while ios5 is faster, iphone4 uses retina display wich makes it rendering at a higher dpi but also makes the canvas performance go down, i havent tried this but the messages seem so say a much higher fps

vtrix, Hey have you had reasonably good results on the iphone4 or above?

I've been testing with a friend's iphone4gs, and touch controls seem to be not work properly. Even with the 'enable retina' settings, it seems like the game thinks you're touching on a low res screen, but displaying on a high res screen. I suspect I haven't quite got the settings quite right though.

This is an old article from 2011. That may not be long ago, but the situation changes literally month by month. I think this information is out of date and Safari now always uses GPU acceleration even without those changes.
