Wow! I was wondering why appMobi wanted me to make some changes to my account last week. That and there support forum, and a large part of there website seems to be missing.
I wonder if Intel will get direct canvas for Android working now?
Yeah, I just got that e-mail. Interesting how they simply pasted Intel over all the logos - they seem to have killed off the Appmobi name. This may get confusing :/
So that's why I got empty mail few minuts ago from appMobi... Intel ate them before they get chance to write something in it.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Me likey.
First Node Webkit and now Appmobi.
Intel sure knows how to secure a controlling interest in HTML5.
Intel should invest to improve directcanvas, it was very buggy in the past
Wouldnt it be funny if AMD bought CocoonJS? ;P
First Node Webkit
What's this in reference to ? did Intel acquire them too?

Nope. They didn't have to.
Node Webkit is, in fact, a development of the Intel Open Source Technology Center.
This is an interesting development! Hopefully it will result in more frequent updates to directCanvas. I'm not sure what the exact implications will be for C2 users, but I think that will gradually become clearer over the next week or two.
