can construct 2 handle effects on large backgrounds

I am making a game which needs a large image to have the pixel effect, will construct 2 be able to handle this or not? Please let me know.

This is a hardware question, not software.

Construct 2 should handle it just fine. A better question is will the hardware you want to run it on be able to handle it?
