How it's going to work

For various reasons we've had to split all the entries into multiple polls. For each group, vote for the game you think should win the Users Choice Trophy.

The top 2 entries from each poll will then go into the finals poll.

PLEASE NOTE: These votes will have no influence on me and Ashley's choice of winners. Also please note that the winner could also win a prize as well as the users choice trophy as originally planned.

It's too bad... i saw some change on one of my favourite game.. Why changed thing when the deadline is over ? isn't very fairplay!

Changes are officially allowed but it's at their own peril. The reason for this is because there is no way we can regulate the entries so we have to allow it. We might come up with a better system in the next competition (this has been a learning experience for us!)

Best to have an upload space with limited time access that is disabled on deadline.

Or update all the games on your own dropbox, so no one can change it? I mean .. let us send you the capx files, you export ist, upload it and share the DropBox link?

Or you give any other user the task of uploading the games, or anything like this =)

There has been around 40 entries for this contest. The two Scirra boys would have had 40 projects to export and then stock online ?

I don't think this is a good idea.

Moreover the HTML would have been all the same. I prefer being able to customize my entry and the HTML page to fit with my game than having the same old "Made with construct2" export.html as every one, no offense ^^

I like Mipey's proposition.

Anyway, as mentionned from the start, this is more for fun than anything and having so many entries for the first compo is pretty unexpected.

This shows well the power of C2 and its community.

Yes! We suffer from our own success here, I was expecting around 10 entries at most!

We've learnt a lot from this competition so will be executing it slightly differently in the future, we have listened to everything said and peoples comments.
